Spacious double fully equipped apartment with 2 bathrooms, 2 kitchens and separate laundry. No need of the kitchen though for a short stay as very good cafés, restaurants and a hotel are very close. Secure undercover parking is also good. I really satisfied with Leisure Inn Spires!!Very recommended especially for family with young children.The staffs were really friendly and helpful.The location and the surroundings are superb!!!!I wish i can stay longer!!.
all reviews » Excellent location, clean, spacious. I read past reviews which listed complaints about noise from trains. I could see the trains from my room, but they were no issue at all. Would definitely stay again!. Perfect location for a visit to the Blue Mountains, only a 5-10 minute drive from all the main attractions. Very spacious accommodation with all facilities you would require. Would absolutely return. Excellent location for visiting Blue Mountains etc. Spacious apartment with balconies. Apartment blocks surrounded by well kept gardens Good laundry facilities. Ample parking areas. Location, walking access to Leura village, Close to surrounding tourist places. Have have stayed at Spires before and will do so again for future visits. I liked having a refrigerator and table and furnished flatware and dishes. A microwave would have been nice. Nice to have free use of washer and dryer. The bed was comfy. The DVD player didn't work at first but the staff were very helpful in getting it too work x overall very very close to leura mall x. There was a work spot in the hall carpet. Unit did not have a walk in shower so was very hard having to climb in and out of bath tub when one is not in one's prime!!. All good. It was hard to find reception as it isn't within the complex and I wasn't advised where it located. The room was clean but the curtains were not. The train line noise and the stain access with heavy bags. Could have had more plates and cutlery. No lifts! We dragged our luggage up two staircases. Overhead lighting was depressing. More table lamps would provide better lighting and ambiance. Kettle worked sometimes and not others -required watching. Hair dryer didn't work. My room 116, was very noisy at night. The trains and trucks kept me awake. I would not choose to stay in this section of the complex again. only minimum equipment in kitchen, more cooking pots would be good. Oven dirty, cleaning between stays appears to be minimal. Our door was left unlocked by the cleaning staff. Nothing was taken, but still a concern. work crews working near us and power outage. The cleaning needs to be inspected. The hot tub grout was dirty, the skirting around the room still needs vacume and boards wiping down..just little things need more attention. ..thanks mat. The receptionist had no personality. the only thing was that in one toilet only have one quarter of toilet paper but they fix it the next day. The oven needed a good clean. It was really dirty and made the room smell. Air conditioner did not warm room even when full on. Some0ne parked in my carpark. One of the 2 rooms was not ready when we arrived at 2pm. Only equipped for two - and sparsely equipped. Reading light inadequate. A bit dark around building entrance. no toilet paper at all, mold in shower first time i stayed down the back and trains were very. only 1 half of the electric blanket was working. The shower had mould - not clean enough. It was very noisey all night. Main light didn't work and bathroom window wouldn't open. Beside the railway track and road side, can hear the noise of truck go uphill and train get by. Felt was a bit overpriced as it does not offer any special service or facility (bath, nice views, pool etc... ) Showed a nice balcony in the pictures but the one we got had views to a wall. The air con in the unit was in a bad place next to the door and the bedroom needs a tv or something for couples and more bin bags in the cupboard also the dishwasher didn't work. No cleaning of the room. Staff very sec. Noisy (adjacent to train line and highway); Reception not manned at advertised times (still no-one in attendance at 0915 on Sunday morning, causing checkout delay).
