Friendly family owned business including Charlie (dog) . Furnishings retro but whats old is new. Bistro value for money & food was excellent. At night you can see the paddy melons & rabbits come out to feed. Where can you stay & get a complimentary breakfast & news paper everyday for the best price in town , Well done. Excellent value for money. New Management has taken over (it was their 4th day of operations). A very friendly welcome on arrival. A start is in process of updating the rooms in the next week or so. A view good view of looking down the valley to the City and the Tamar River from our room. 5 minutes drive into the city centre.

The restaurant served wonderful meals at night,good value and beautifully served. the accommodation was of a good size and very comfortable and clean. We would have no problems in going back there and would certainly recommend it to my friends and family. The staff were very courteous and extremely helpful. The environment had beautiful views and grounds. Great value for people with kids. Improvements are being discreetly implemented so as not to impose on guests. I would like to come back in six months to see the changes Ellen Hiscock and Colin Bowman. Staff very friendly, made us feel at home. The view from our room was excellent. Good value for money which included breakfast. The food at the restaurant was very good and reasonably priced. Staff recommended scenic areas to visit. We would defiantly stay again. Very welcomening staff with a family, vibe who made us feel most welcome. The room was clean,comfortable and good value, meals in the tavern were tasty at an affordable price. We enjoyed our stay and if we ever return to launceston, I would stay there again!. Was a comfortable hotel..Beds were very comfortable with electric blankets...rooms clean An extra heater would of been good as it was two bedroom with a electric heater in only the mail living area. But overall would recommend it. Plenty of space in motel unit, a bit old fashioned in bathroom but perfectly adequate, clean and warm; good to have table and chairs; basic cereal/toast breakfast in dining room included in tariff; friendly staff and dog. very clean,fantastic staff. close to everything,staff are always going out of there way to help you with any question you might have regarding the motel or Tasmania. Our last minute request was cheerfully met, a late evening meal was made available & delivered to our room. Everything in the room worked, comfortable bed & quiet surroundings. Cost effective simple accommodation catering to family needs. Extra towels supplied for pool were great, as were electric blankets on all beds. Kids liked the games room. The bed was super comfortable. The room was clean and had all facilities that we needed. Breakfast was included in the price of our stay which was already a great price. Being able to visit POI,s within a short radius easily and comfortably. The staff and support by Motor Inn staff was exceptional. Location of the Inn was appropriate. David - who runs the place; Bar - reasonably priced wine. Restaurant on site - handy. Quick drive into Launceston. It was surprisingly quiet. Comfortable and clean. My wife and I really love how the staff went the extra mile for us, we both really felt we got far more than what we paid for! Lovely view and facilites as well... Good value. Fresh coffee at breakfast time would be nicer; unfortunately pool not hot on day due to an overnight breakdown. nothing to complain about deadest. Phone was unserviceable. Pool and spa were too cold - even for Victorians!. The shower from the next room was very noisy and woke us up early. Nothing. This was an exceptional Inn and facilities, staff and location was FANTASTIC. No vegetarian options for on the menu. Nothing not to like!. One of the beds was sooooo uncomfortable!. Nothing. the entrance to the complex from the main rd. Nothing to dislike. I thought possibly that a single bed in that type of room would be an advantage to the more mature people. It was a little hard to find even with the map and their sign on the main road is partly covered by trees. nothing. Nothing. we did not like that our booking said a Queen room whitch to us meant the bed !!!! well it wasn't and was very uncomfortable ,especially as it rolled to the middle of the bed all night ,so very sad about that as we did not get what we paid for. There are many flyers at night in the room. limited restaurant facility and limited breakfast saying all that my evening meals was excellent. A little dated but the new owners have time to make lots of improvements. Noisy fan in bathroom. a dog in the dining room eating from what fell from the tables. somethings a little bit "old"-bathroom cupboards etc.but ok for the price. Being close to highway traffic noise in the evening. the swiming pool could be a littel bit warmer. Location of toilet roll holder in our suite. nothing we didnt like. Restaurant not open due to maintenance issues. Breakfast not available early enough to eat prior to leaving for the airport. Inefficient heating and partly working electric blanket the first night. The heating not an issue the second visit one week later. Breakfast room a bit boarding school but caters for budget conscious. Nothing. Kitchen was poorly equipped for self catering. motel is becoming A little tired. Access off Prospect Road was tricky. nothing.
