Had to travelled with siblings for family reunion / funeral. I was in charge of the booking of accommodation and very concerned with the number of us travelling together - trying to keep six adults happy...! The studio was roomy,neat and tidy. Everyone was pleased with the accommodation, location and price.
I enjoy my stay at Markham Court. It was very spacious. Loved the upstairs balcony; could enjoy the lovely sunset. Was very comfortable. Awesome dining chairs. Great for a night at the coast with my group of friend, will probably book here again.all reviews »

Your receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful, explaining the probs you have with the cleaners. I have stayed at Markham Court 3 times now and would still go back there in the years to come but something really needs to be done with the cleaning.

Location was good unit was spacious - did not see any staff at all - arrived at 4pm & no one was there.
Unfortunately we only received one key - between the 6 of us one key is not enough.
Reception isn't open at check-in time. I would like to be greeted to the place I'm staying at and to be able to answer any queries I have - like only having one key etc.
The down stairs air con (heater) didn't work.
The décor was a little tired and some items were very rusty i.e. washing machine and a/c.
Noisey neighbours at the property next door.These people have
nothing to do with Markham Court, they had late night parties friday
and saturday.The swimming pool had a very strong taste/smell of
salty chlorine.
the lounge suite i felt needed a clean or upgrade & in our room upstairs with all the rain the carpet was saturated and did not smell so good.
Apartment could have been a little cleaner.
took awhile to realise where the swipe button was to open garage door to leave carpark - perhaps big sign would be helpful.
The fact that my husband has a disability with his leg and there was no disabled access only stairs. that their was 2 rooms with singles when we had two couples staying.
Dirty under the sofas and beds, cobwebs under coffee table, cockroach in bathtub, hard beds, no free dishwasher liquid, 2 coffee cups were chipped (replaced on our 2nd stay), light bulbs blown.
The owner walked in on one of the ladies who only had a towel on at the time due to a mixup between owner & agent. Also CD player did not work & was not fixed while we were there. Rooms need a good & thorough cleaning. There were a lot of 'golfers' staying & there bad/foul mouths were offensive at times. Being warned we would be surrounded by golfers when we made the booking would have been appreciated.
The apartment was in desperate need of painting and refurbishing. Beds lounge were very uncomfortable and delapadated paint makes the place look & feel unclean.
Bathroom was a bit grotty!.
