Proximity to what we were down there for, access to public transport, beach playgrounds. Michelle (Relief Manager) could not do enough for us from the time of booking on the internet, the follow up emails prior to arrival, arranging transfers for us, all of this whilst dealing with a very personal family medical issue. Michelle, it is people like you that draw people back time and time again. Cannot say enough about the 5 ***** service you provided myself and my 6yr old son with. It is a pleasu.
all reviews » It roomy for us, and we liked that We as an older couple liked the ground floor. I am not sure if you had a lift. Good walking distance to some facilities. e.g. Working mans club. Transport system good. Helpful management. Good nights sleep. We would stay there again. Location was right. Theme parks were nearby and the beach was just a short walk away. There were adequate choices of places to eat. The place was adequate for 2 to 3 adults. And appliances, kitchen wares, other amenities provided and were in good condition. The kind staff were wonderful, it was very family friendly specially with having young children.Owners went out of their way for us. Everything was spotlessly clean.Soap shampoo ect were provided.We will be staying there again.Kindest Regards Spencer Family. Loved that we were able to bring our puppy with us, there are not many places that let you do that. Apartment was very spacious with a balcony, free parking and we even got a late check out of 1pm the next day for free. Excellent value for money. I liked the fact we were upgraded to the Equinox Motel, which turned out to be closer to where we needed to be. I also thought Michelle was wonderful, friendly and very helpful. The place was clean and had off street secure parking. Thank you. As it is very close to all the theme parks and coast line, it was perfect for us to see all the sights without blowing the budget. And it was great to come home to a nice and tidy, quiet and clean room. The lady who greeted us was lovely and accommodating, and the gentleman I spoke to on the phone in advance was very friendly and helpful also. I would stay here again in a similar scenario, for sure. Everything, the owner (Michel) was a great help, she upgraded us and put us in a great big room as it was a very busy time (free of charge off course), so clean, so close to everything. Staff were friendly and helpful..I had traveled 25 hrs and arrived late at night. To find lights and air con on to welcome us. Unit clean and adequate for our stay. i really like the way Michelle the caretaker entertained us during our stay. she was like trying to help us out in our iteneries. she s friendly. Plenty of room within the units- Alot of kitchen essentials provided Like having a normal size fridge/freezer. Five minute walk to beach, take away restaurants and playground. A good place for the budget conscious. Quiet and relaxing atmosphere; Very friendly and helpful staff; walking distance to the shops. The staff was so kind n room was well organized n cleaned than i had expected. Although in need of a major uplift the motel was excellent value for money. Staff service is excellent! The mattress on the double bed was very uncomfortable and the clock on the wall didn't work. far from town. Can't think of anything. Nothing much - you get what you pay for. funiture was old fashioned. I didn't have ABC tv! :(. n/a. There were only sheets on the beds, and minimal blankets in the cupboard (ended up having to use some towels as blankets). And forgot to mention when checking out, but there was water spraying into the shower from gaps in the grout - not a big issue for me, but wonder if there's some plumbing issues management aren't aware of. Nothing. Parking spot was hard to get into and room was bit noisy. Advertisement stated the swimming pool was "heated". Not true! The children were disappointed. there were small cockroaches in where the crockery was. That the hot water system broke down when we were staying there. No couch to sit on, having to use bed is not ideal. My all stuff got stolen, never happened ever... Some one came into my room and stolen my wallet all cash and expensive stuff and staff they did not even check cctv it was very disappointing, which ruined my holiday.. :(. Booked a two bedroom apartment, but was put in a one bedroom. The other bed being an uncomfortable fold-out couch in the lounge room. Would not have received a refund if I had not rung them to complain. I wouldn't book this motel again. Noise in the unit above woke us up. Loud cats kept us up all night. Leaky taps. room was smelly. Intense smell of wunderbaum in room Much noise from street traffic. the lounge was so dusty you could feel it so had to put a blanket over it. Room not clean, Clock had a deep layer of dust. Furniture old, scratched. Have seen better in a council cleanup. Owners never in office. A few missed matched cups cutlery etc. Towels clean at least. Next morning covered in bites that I supposed were bed bugs. Marks and itches there 2 weeks later.
