Just love the hospitality offered by the owner (husband&wife).. The room is mind-blowing considering we only paid $120 per night for standard queen bed + 1 single (wifi, coffee/tea making facilities,toaster, fresh towels,;steam iron+iron board; basic toiletries,hair dryer,clean and modern interior deco,microwave *upon request). The location is just perfect with Coles and Kmart right opposite the hotel(walking distance).Btw, I love your free Nestle hot chocolate!It will be great if you can p.
all reviews » The Clean, Crisp Fresh look of the room, with the choice of extra pillows and blankets, The Beds were comfy and clean.... I liked how there is a Kettle, toaster and some supplies, and if u stay more than 1 night you do receive more tea bags & coffee, fresh towels if needed, the Staff are More than HAPPY To HELP, this was our 2nd Stay here and we will be returning again very soon :). Our room was clean and quite large. There were big windows with a nice view. The location was great - on High St, close to everything. Across the road was a supermarket and other shops. There was a pub and takeaway restaurants across the road. room very spacious, clean and tidy, nice combination of colours and design of furniture/linen, i liked that there was the hot chocolate as well and not just tea and coffee, staff kind and friendly, good position as well. location would be ideal for people going to the footy at Skilled stadium, short 5/10 min walk. parkside, means parkside, room overviewing grassy paddock neighbouring. Close to shops. Clean. Quiet. Comfortable. Comfortable bed, good service when it appeared we would be arriving late, plenty of excitement with the fire alarm going off in the morning, expecially when our room was the culprit and we don't smoke. Great view out over the park. Great that there was a supermarket across the road and also a 24hr kmart too but still a quick drive to get to central geelong. It suited us well as we didn't want anything ostentatious. It's a fairly old motel but very clean and room looked over the adjacent park, which was great. The purpose that we were there for was 'day on green"... Was fantastic for that as was central, easy to get too clean and no noise.. We loved it.... Price was value for money and rooms comfortable. Yes it is aged but clean and convenient. Convenient for fast food and value eating places. The Heater in Our Family room didnt work, and their wasn't any privacy to get dressed away from the kids as its a Open plan room, The Shower isnt Disability friendly as its very awkward & high to get in & out but does have a hand rail. The pillows were hard. I found the shower a little too small and the shower curtain is annoying cos it gets stuck on you while you're moving in the shower. In my opinion tea cups are too small, you have to keep refill them. Rooms are quite dated, bathroom could do with a reno, but it was adequate without being exceptional. Facilities were everything we needed for an over night stay with an early leave the next morning. parking spaces are difficult to drive into. The restaurant that was in the photos on the web has closed - permanently it seems. The only thing was that when we booked it on line, we got our confirmation details & said was Geelong instead of Belmont. So when we punched in High St Geelong on navman took us way out whoop-whoop. Then realised so rang & told us thats its actually Belmont... Trivial but a slight over-sight (more on booking side of things). Outside could do with refurbishment but I don't sleep there!. Nothing!. VERY cold on arrival/check in and the wall mirror was nearly falling off wall (dont want bad luck). Nothing. All was good. The hotel was a little run down, although all the basics were available and it was still comfortable. The shower stall was not easy for older adults -it was deep to step out of. The rail helped and was essential. TV could be a bit bigger. Nothing. Shower tub too high, need to ensure a good grip when climbing in and out of it. The motel is right on a Main Street so at times it was hard to get out of but at the end of the day a fantastic place to stay. bathroom was tiny, crack in the sink, kitchenette was tiny, elevator was old and scary. The restaurant was closed the whole time we were there which was unfortunate. having no sink in the bathroom. Nothing,everything was as advertised. nothing. The lift was slow The tv was too small for the size of the room. Could smell cigarette smoke from other rooms. No cooking facilities. The shower tub is very high up, a bit concern for elders and young kids. room very warm. nothing all good. Noise from neighbouring rooms - loud music. The toilet is to close to the sink. So close you can't sit on it.
