The food was great in their bistro. Breakfast was great too and served hot to us in our room. Really nice friendly, helpful staff. We were double booked, but were upgraded to a better room, so thanks. Good value for budget travellers. Location was beautiful. Good value for the money. Checking in was easy and the staff was very friendly. It was nice to have a fridge, tea/coffee making equipment, and a fridge.

The beds were not very comfortable - you could feel the springs in your back. The smoke detector was very sensitive and went off after making (light) toast. Nice little restaurant but the seats at the small tables are very uncomfortable. Quite a long wait for food to be served some nights, but worth waiting for. No ladder to access upper bunk bed. Our room had a very outdated bathroom. The door did not shut at all and the toilet was almost a cubicle...there was a lack of privacy. Road noise-would probably have been reduced if the windows were closed. Room was very small but not a surprise as the price was good. had to wait 2 hours for our tea. Then I had to pay for tea and the rooms I thought I pay for when I booked it was a shock to pay that amount in one hit. There was nothing to dislike. I would have liked it if we had been told that we needed to order breakfast the night before. all good. the hot water ran out. Nothing. Long wait in restaurant. Small odd shaped room wasn't user friendly. It was cold and it took a long time to heat the room. The room was crammed and unattractive. The restaurant was cold and the seating was uncomfortable - taking the rustic theme too far. Don't use Gravox with your roasts - horrible. Booked luxury queen bed suite.. No mountain view and the room was pretty ordinary. Heating was inadequate. Bathroom in particular very cold. The room would be a bit crowded for three to share. No air cond, small poky room, small desk (hard to work). Small rooms + small single beds. Very small desk which made working with a computer difficult. Restaraunt was cold, food service was exceptionally slow and meals too expensive for type and presentation. Hot water service broke down and no compensation was offered. The room and bathroom were extremely cramped. There was nowhere to put ones suitcases, and barely room to move. An intrusive old wardrobe had been placed in front of a door leading to the adjoining room, and made an already tiny space almost non-existant. Location was a bit too far from eateries but there was one on site. Room was the tiniest we have ever had!. Room far too small for 2 adults. What a mean little place. Pillows and mattress were old and the most uncomfortable I have experienced. Come on guys you give one biscuit to have with a cup of tea. For the money and past experience this was overpriced. The place needs overhauling. Not a pleasant stay. The check- in was difficult and am not sure if I will be charged for two rooms.
