We liked the lovely spa which was big enough for 2 people with out feeling squashed. We liked one particular helpful staff member Melanie who assisted us with print outs of tours etc. She was the most loveliest and friendly person that went on to the net and nothing was too much trouble. The food was good. Comfortable, clean bed. Staff were helpful organising airport transfer. The first room we were given had a dirty shower, we asked for it to be cleaned and were given a different ungraded room.

It was close to train station (20 min walk) restaurants, supermarket, petrol stations ect. That it was local, cheap and close to shops and friendly service. Easy going found the night very relaxing loved the spa. Extremely warm and welcoming customer service staff. Evening meal was excellent. Room was comfortable. The Motel is situated in a good position but that was only the good thing about the Motel. not much. nothing. Wasn't found of the hotel being next door to a Fire Sation as was very noisy with trucks coming and going. We went out for the day and found that our car parking spot was taken, we had to park a little bit away from our room. The hotel should have car bays allocated for rooms,even if they paint numbers on the ground so no one else parks in them. Dust and fluff accumulations in corners and on skirting board. A tray still had tea spills from a previous guest. The only thing I didn't like was we had a very loud group of neighbours who stood outside their room all night drinking & smoking, which was no fault of the Comfort Inn. Room was clean and adequate but could do with a makeover. Seemed like circa 1980. Noise level was minimal but got the impression it would be noisy if the hotel was full. The room had a west facing window overshadowed by a large building making the room feel dull and dingy. Didn't stay longer... The tv took ages to turn on and would randomly turn off also I got internet and it was really hard to get onto a website. Something to do with the signal strength. Room service food came out cold, and dishes were left outside room from friday morning until we left sunday monrning. Would have liked foxtel in room the person on noght shit reception could have been friendlier. My kids finding a packet of pain medications in the drawer made me question how much attention the cleaners pay. No service at breakfast, could not get a cooked breakfast due to lack of staff. Alot of Ants in our room. No facility for sitting outside. No free wifi/Internet or foxtel even though it was advertised as having so. n/a. Pool could be a bit larger and spa in the rooms could cater for 2 people. Both having allergies to mould, we were not impressed by the mould coating the bathroom ceiling and shower and had to keep the door shut when we weren't using the bathroom. This is certainly not acceptable and a fan or the like could be easily installed to fix this problem. Room 113 needs lots of maintenance. Tap was loose in basin, shower door would not shut properly, front door only partially painted, waited at reception over 5 min to check in - eventually another guest rang someone to come serve us. The house maid did non clean the room 1 day, only made the beds. the room wasnt clean properly the heater didnt work dripping tap in the bathroom the tv had no signal. Rather dated, old rooms, could use a freshen up. Very noisy - can hear the conversation in the next room. Starting to look tired. No air conditioner No wi fi. The constant stream of Smoke wafting in through the bathroom window. Ashtrays under the window. Noise from the Fire Station all night. The heating didn't operate in our room and despite asking for electric blankets there were none, and only one blanket on the beds. It was a winters night. The female staff member was helpful in changing our room, which unfortunately smelt of cigarette smoke. No free wifi. No lift. Tv didn't work Air con filters filthy. The noise every night and all night from the fire station next door! The noisy arrival at 2.30am of a coach load of chinese travellers and their equally noisy departure on the same morning!. Generally property in poor condition. Carpets and walls badly stained or dirty. Service in dining room poor. It seemed 1 person had to manage reception and dining room at the same time. The room had allot mold on the ceiling and in the bathroom it was disgusting. Towels smelt and over all cleanliness of the room was shabby.Very disappointed in the overall stay and i wouldn't recommend the comfort inn to any one regards Mark Wilkinson. Melbourne. Premises not clean, rubbish bins overflowing, very noisy with some guests drinking in the carpark to very very late and a mouse in the room of neighbouring guest. some ones hair in shower. towel holder coming out of wall . could hear everything outside. Poor mattresses,very unsatisfactory for what we paid. Broken window lever. Air conditioner did not work. Grounds were lacking maintenance. Room service was an unfortunate experience, it took over 1hr 20min to deliver and when it arrived no cutlery or napkin was provided. The tray the meal arrived on was dirty. When my cutlery finally arrived my meal was cold. Phone in room did not work I had to use the bathroom phone which was dirty/sticky. The toilet running the duration of our stay. My room was not serviced, had dishes from the previous nights meal in my room. Weren't told that breakfast was included in the price. The was not up to standard. Rooms smelt of smoke from smokers. Establishment is showing its age - needs facelift 1 hour to wait for meal - left in disgust given only 6 others on restaurant. The rooms were very smelly and the the bins in the Motel area were not empty everyday, so the magpies were going thru the bins and pulling out the rubbish. The spa was unusable because there was a film of grease floating on the water. One of the rooms our friends stay in the bed and floors had been cleaned but the bathroom was not so they had to change rooms There were other people staying there I presume a another sport team ( Hockey) and they were very noisy till late into the night. the room was dirty,,sso the pool and the grounds would never stay again. everything. The room was filthy, mould in the shower, stains all over the carpets, smoke detector hanging off the roof, linen and towels smelt like smoke. Room wasn't ready at 2 (check in time) Holes in the walls, bedside tables had big stains on them.. Very Very Dissapointed. Staff were a little stubborn. Hard to unlock the door with the keys for the executive suite. Spa facility didn't work.
