Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We were always greeted when we walked through the door and asked about our day! Peaceful through the night but loads to do during the days and evenings. 30 second walk from the beach so ideal and the free shuttle bus to and from the town centre was great as if it was full for a time slot they always offered to come straight back for us. Couldn't fault it....also very clean and tidy.

The deluxe spa room was brilliant and had such a special holiday feel to it.The eatery and bar next door had great atmosphere and the beach is only a stones' throw away.We definitely would stay here again!. The room was very clean and comfortable. We loved the spa bath and the back porch with a hammock! The resort is suited for all types of travellers and has an excellent location, close the the beach. Also, the Silver Bullet Cafe right out side serves the best brekkie roll I have ever had. It was clean, directly across from the beach, great staff, very helpful, cheap to hire surfboards or snorkels, we stayed in a private suite with bathroom and kitchen and it was beautifully furnished, easy to cook In, and felt very safe and secure. There were only a few, but with young kids you tend to notice them more... A little short on car spaces. Could do with some later night returns from town for the shuttle bus. Need some new pots (some smaller) and cutlery in the kitchen; there is enough but sometimes have to wait and if you provide some oil for free the frypans might last longer. Nothing at all...only that I couldn't stay longer... Unfortunately as we all know maintenance issue do happen, the tap in the shower broke and we had to use the communal shower block - that was not a huge issue but without asking they just gave us a full refund for the night for the inconvenience - you cannot ask for better service than that. No free wi-fi. We had a bunk bed in our double room which was extremely annoying, would have been better if a standard bed. was a bit noisy from neighbouring bar/band, but I was happy to trade that for the ocean view & the fact that the bar had meals!. Nothing to report. that someone came into our room to change the bins. it would have been better if we were told that this would happen. The only thing we didn't like was that the room had a stained glass panel in the door that let in too much light at night. they didn't clean my room for the week I was there The WiFi is pay for but a very average connection that drops out so you can't book on it. Nothing have been here 3 times and loved it. n/a. You definitely need a car to get to the main part of town. However you can borrow a bike if needed. The cable TV offerings are very limited. A staff member let herself into the room to empty our bin while we were in bed!. We didnt stay long enough. We Visited for a wedding We would like to return and make use of bike hire, transport to town, beaches. I would have liked a microwave in my room as I am not a backpacker (a bit older) and would have liked to be able to heat up some food (particularly as the resort is not close to a lot of places to eat out). Pretty noisy till 11pm if your room is next to the outdoor social area. Forget about sleep till about 11:15. But that's great if you are there to party. Room #23 is a very nice room but it is right next to the live music venue, the Tree House. This is fine when they have good quality bands but if the music is not to you taste there is no escaping it, it's even hard to think. Thankfully they finish by 10:30pm generally. Also, it would be good if the staff enforced the no noise after 11pm policy, the schoolies were really loud up to 1am!. Kitchen utencils were old and dirty. WiFi was very expensive. N/a. No Bathmat (really need that when getting slippery young children out of the shower). Other guests parking where they shouldn't which meant getting out of our cottage by car was tricky sometimes. Having to leave...... Didn't stay long enough. Attached café a little expencive. at night kids smoking on balcony and smell really filled our room. being locked into a 5 night package over easter. Nothing. The hotel is a bit out of town but the courtesy bus to the center is for free.
