The lady who saw us in about 8pm was ever so friendly! Loved her warm welcome! Absolutely gorgeous :) The room we had was beautiful as well, everything we needed was there! A handy booklet was also provided for us which informed us of local sights! Was great! Can express how happy I was to stay here! Will definitely be back!. Very friendly and welcoming arrival, upgrade to ocean view room recommended and accepted for only $5 extra and well worth while. Across the road from the beach and bike track to town, older style motel yet excellent value for money and very clean and comfortable.
all reviews » It sounds boring, but we couldn't fill in anything less than excellent. This was such a surprise, since we knew we did' pay the price of a luxury hotel room. Don't want to recommend it to others as wewill never be able to book a room for ourselves again. The lady at the front desk was lovely and so helpful directing us of some good places to visit. Was a much needed weekend break! Will definitely be visiting again and hopefully can make use of the games room when the renovations are done . Friendly helpful staff prepared to listen to comment. Our unit layout was spacious compared to others we have stayed in, and conveniently set out. Kitchen was recently upgraded with modern appliances. Beautiful location overlooking the sea, clean, next door to a restaurant, and everything we needed in the motel was there. Also, anything else we needed we just had to ask, and it was given to us. As a family with young children, the apartments were perfect, being self contained and in walking distance to beach, parks and main street with resturants. And didn't cost the earth!. Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable bed. Excellent shower! Plates, cuttlery etc in room. Fresh milk! Didn't use internet this time, but like that it has wi-fi. Greeted by a very friendly manageress. Location is wonderful with superb view of the vast ocean. Ample parking space. Room is large and value for money!. proximity to beach and town, friendly and helpful staff, clean and had the essentials tea/coffee , kettle toaster, microwave etc. Friendly reception from the owners & very helpful. Being on the beach front and just a 5 minute walk to the city and shops. Location is outstanding - straight across the road from the ocean and esplanade walkway. Owner very friendly and obliging. The couple that run it are very friendly and helpful. This is the second time I have stayed here and would do so again. I was very impressed how friendly the management were, you had everything you needed and the price was great !!. the location was great - particularly our room which was apart from the rest and had a full view of the ocean. Room was lovely and clean and the shower was one of the best for pressure and hot water that I've had. The location of the motel is excellent, where many interest point in Bunbary can be accessed easily. Only stayed 1 night but it was clean and comfortable and next to the ocean great and friendly staff. The motel is nicely located, close to the beach. Ocean opposition. Just a little far if you wanted to walk to town for a meal etc., about 20 mins away although with the bike track across the road certainly possible and a very pleasant walk next to the beach. General cleaning was acceptable but would not stand a real close-up look but considering the short distance from the sea spray and dusty coastal road I can appreciate difficulties here. I would not hesitate to stay here again. Shame that we only stayed 1 night. staying for a week, we didn't get fresh towels, which would of been nice half away through our stay. Cups being put back in cupboards that hadn't been washed prior. Would be nice to have full breakfast offered :). No breakfast... Noisy neighbors (Hopefully its one time off). Walls are quite thin easy to hear other people who may be up late. Having to fly back to Darwin at the end of my hollidays :(. Room was reasonable size but no wardrobe, iron or board. Bathroom could do with updating. Very noisy 'visitors' appeared to park on footpath and talk loudly for hours. Couldn't tell whether connected to motel. the bed was a bit soft and I woke up with a screaming back ache (I don't get back aches). No Foxtel but then I understand that the cost is prohibitive for a small business like this. All good for the price. The hot water in 1a must have come from 300 meters away, so it seemed. The microwave was obviously a good one - so good my wife was unable to use it. perhaps our grandchildren would have had no probs but if you are going to billet olds like us - please -----keep it simple. Building needs a bit of loving care our door was falling off the hinges. All good. Water very chlorinated. Nothing. The aircon unit was very noisy. having to leave by 10.30am. Extra blankets available would have been good as it was freezing... Free wifi for apartments would have been good too. Cold tiling Not so comfy bed. only economy breakfast available. Bit dated, fluro light as main light, old (clunker) air con, plastic outdoor chairs as the main table chairs??? Fox but only 4 channels (3sport)!! No fly wire on the windows resulting in Huntsman spider in the bathroom basin!!! Noisy car park out side (with window shut) of room with people arriving as late as 1am and wooden floors sound like a herd of Elephants had arrived. a little tired. Shower. Nothing. No wifi. no cupboards for hanging clothes or to store anything away. Bathroom small for a family. jug would not stay on and we had a flickering light in the bathroom. single beds not very sturdy as mattress slipped off bed during night. Some of the kitchen facilities a bit run down. Initial minor problem finding our booking - friends travelling with us also had similar problem but soon sorted. The bathroom is outdated and requires refurbishment. Children above unit constantly making noise filtered to our unit below.
