Friendly management and staff,as we were travelling by train and would be late they were waiting for us. Clean comfortable rooms. Walking distance from the town centre. Our bags were stored for a late departure. Feeling welcome from the staff. Very friendly & comfortable. Would stay there again - we were there for 6 nights & made it our base for travelling the area. Really central to everything.
all reviews » Had a bit of a view of the ocean from the deck, was close to Byron Bay and other shopping areas as well as convienient to the hinter land. Fresh, clean rooms; nice outdoor area; lovely pool and BBQ area; very close to town and beach. Everything, they were brilliant in every aspect. We are definitely going back. It was in a good location, well priced, clean, fresh and comfortable. The staff were lovely. Very welcomeing. Nice place. Relaxing. very clean and quiet.The gardens were well kept and attractive . Lovely comfortable bed. Staff were friendly. Location ok. Not crowded - very few rooms utilized during our stay. Clean, cool & quiet. it was very quaint, nice and clean, loved the little pictures on the walls, ok because i was on my own.... Over all the place was alright. Set out nicely, easy to find and in a nice area. Fairly quiet, good location. I like relaxation. Reception. That we couldn't stay for longer. Surprised on seeing the room, at $100 plus, so basic with no outlook windows . It would be very difficult on rainy days. Website is amazing!. Could do with a revamp By modern standards, a little cramped in the rooms. I would not stay there in a peak period as feel it would be noisy, both within the motel and location on the main road into Brunswick. Broken blind wouldn't shut to block light. Shower hard to regulate - very hot, then cold No hairdryer in room No milk to go with tea/coffee. very small rooms and paper thin walls, could hear the neighbours talking word for word.... I was absolutely disgusted in the way the older male staff member/owner spoke to my sister and I about her 7week old baby. He was rude and disrespectful. I will not be recommending this place to anyone nor will I ever give it a good word. Very hard bed. Not very clean in the ensuite (dirty shower curtain). Sand in the bed. No air con. very poor sound on tv. Manager-a real smart arse. Seemed to deem it a privilege that we were staying there and had cheek to ask why we needed certain things like cereal bowls.
