The room had a nice warm feel to it, was spacious and well finished for an older hotel. The bathroom was modern, great facilities in the room including desk and sofa. Overall good experience in a quiet suburban location with lots of parking. Our room was close to the road, but due to 2 doors into the bathroom,no road traffic was heard at all. The room was spacious, and had all facilities. Reception was very helpful, especially Emma.
all reviews » Proximity to venue I was attending. Staff assistance in guiding me to venue, complete with Internet printed instructions. Had everything required. Location is good, Staff were excellent. Rooms nice, Room service great. The room was clean and very comfortable, people at reception were polite and helpful. Very roomy apartment, comfortable beds. On a busy highway, it is very quiet. Staff are helpful. Was able to book last minute and at reasonable price. being upgraded because our booking was incorrect. It was OK. To be very picky there was leftover soap in the soap holder and the shower over bath was slippery. Wifi was not available, wired internet a $20 extra! The first girl on check-in was lovely, while the lady on check- out wasn't very friendly. Nothing to dislike!. Computer access expensive. No wine glasses in room. Parking spaces were a bit tight getting in and out of your car. The apartment was very stark, needs some prints on the walls & more furnishings. Only one 2 seater lounge, another one would be good considering it's a 2 b/room apt for 4 people. No coffee making facility no chopping board both of which are essential in an apartment. The breakfast was not a buffet, and expensive for what we had. Room next to smokers and it smelt. we almost missed out on staying it was the only available room. The fact that I had booked a 2 bedroom apartment months before my stay, paid for it in full the week before & when I checked in they had to give me 2, 1 bedroom apartments because the 2 bedroom wasn't available. Shower facilities were poor. Leaks in shower head. It was all good. The really hard pillows, and the bed was not all that comfortable. The staff were not very warm and welcoming on our arrival. It was a bit of a worry going down the wet steps the really wet evening. The spa was cold. Rooms we dark. The initial room for my son that was given to us was not cleaned. Sheet was used and there were opened noodle packages in the room. We went back to the reception to notify the situation and were upgraded to different room. 1) Not sufficient hooks in the bathroom to hang up your cloth. 2) Bathroom has draft and cold. 3) Shower shade isn't large enough to avoid water splashes out to the floor. 4) No Wifi which is behind time. 5) No make up room if notice is not placed on the door handle (get blown away anyway). 6) No one takes care of the car park. My vehicle got scratched while parking in it. Noise from nearby heater.
