The hotel was all new and clean, the staff were helpful and friendly. I liked the breaky in a box (we didn't use them but they were a great idea. Location was good - close enough to central Bendigo without being too close and noisy. easy to book on-line, smooth booking in process at reception, excellent fit-out of the room, convenient pool for a quick dip, close to City restaurants etc., very clean and tidy, very quiet at night, best motel in Bendigo by far.
all reviews » There was plenty of room for us. The rooms were clean and comfy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again for a longer stay next time as we only had one night here. Well spaced, bed was larger than I expected. Stay a few days earlier at a motel 5 doors down which was not worth the money, the extra $20 to stay at the quest Bendigo was worth the money. Easy access to our room Room was small but well set out Undercover parking Appreciated a call by the receptionist to let me know that I had accidentally left my pj's behind in the room. The decore, clean tidy, ample space, modern, internet connection, cooking facilities etc, washing machine / dryer. Loved the whole stay. Pretty faultless really. Easy walking distance to main destinations such as talking tram, Weeroona Lake, Tram depot and restaurants. the 2 bedroom apartments for our group was ideal and the location to our function at the lake was perfect. The front desk fellow was excellent! Friendly but professional and easy to tm to & extremely helpful. This motel was in a very convenient position in Bendigo as we were passing through on our way to Mildura. Clean, comfortable apartment. Well laid out and furnished. Another very good Quest apartment. Male staff member (possibly supervisor or manager)working Friday 21st June made me feel very embarrassed when I called back in to collect my pyjamas that had accidentally left behind. The shower head and mixer. Not very hot or forceful shower head. Car park a little tight. These were minor problems really. Pool wasn't heated. The carparking facilities. The possibility that we might not have a carpark within the motel grounds. Although it was within walking distance, Quest isn't quite in the CBD. Lack of parking. Parking a bit tight. A small problem with secured parking when the Motel was full. external stair access to room; open to weather - only an issue when raining. Unable to connect to wifi. One of the cards was hard to open door. I forgot to ask if there were any downstairs rooms when I booked. My fault. My only criticism was that the bed was two put together and a little uncomfortable. One solid queen/king size would have worked better for us, but hey just a minor thing. We had a great stay. little pricey for the room we had. terrible pillows! I'll bring my own next time. I wish they wouldn't put the reverse cycle air con on the wall above the sofa..so it blows air at your face..bit late to fix that. Parking limited and very cramped. Only allowed 1 car to be parked on site. That I needed to change rooms 2 times. Unable to get into our room so late We were attending a wedding at your facilities Majority of guests had last minute rush to get ready Your girls were still doing rooms as we were trying to get ready this was at 230 pm I think this was unacceptable Hope housekeeping can learn from this mis management We flew in from Airlie Beach Qld So a little disappointed with the rush. the step out of the bath to the floor was way too big for me and I actually fell out of the bath after misjudging the height. maybe should have an optional step, like the one used for kids to reach basins etc. It is a hotel room.Our room was described as a 49 sq m studio. It was barely half that size. Also, we were expecting "Quest Bendigo Central" to be more central. It is a 20 minute walk to the town centre. Bed uncomfortable. It took 5 entry passcards to get one that was coded correctly. Unit is small - to class it as an apartment is an exaggeration. No wireless Internet signal in downstairs area. Location not great. Price. No pricing on food in the room then stung $20 * 2 for a food pack we thought was free. Two single beds joined- very uncomfortable Noise from other rooms- the walls are that thin we could hear conersations in the next room clearly. Car park was horrible. A hotel needs to be able to accomodate all bookings.
