Nice position in the center of Alice Springs. I used it as a base to leave for a tour to Uluru, and it was very convenient. Priced fairly, nice and clean, no luxury accomodation by all means, but would definitely recommend it¬. Staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. It had a family atmosphere. Short walking distance to town and coach terminal. The room was clean and beds comfy. Their new espresso machine an absolute gem!.
all reviews » Location, location. Yep value for money. Above average reception staff. This is not the Targ but well located with easy safe access to the CBD and top eateries. Would stay again. Clean, comfortable, great staff, good location and easy walk to shopping and dining options. Great value for money, I've paid a lot more for a lot worse. The staff worked very well to accommodate us even though we arrived very late. They offered help with transportation. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. The motel was located near everything we wanted to see. The staff at the front desk were wonderful, always friendly and helpful. Location is very convenient as well. Lovely small budget room and cute skinny bathroom. Small but charming. Good pool. Location is fantastic. Air conditioning broke in our room, but they gave us another one pretty quickly. The cheapest room is pretty basic, so get the queen room if you can. Spent 3 nights off the Ghan with out car,should have stayed 4 +. Noisy but given the locality that's not surprising, car parking was a bit tight for those arriving later in the day. I wished I could have stayed another night. Minor issue, the bathroom layout was a tad tight. Freezer in fridge wasn't cold enough for ice cream or freezing my freezer blocks. Rooms are a bit tired, but extremely clean. Everything you need is there!. We arrived on Sunday @ 19:45 but unfortunately the motel was shut.Booking details indicate guests can arrive until 21.00. I had to hastily ring around for alternate accommodation and stayed at the more expensive Chiefly Resort. The bathroom is small. Noisy air conditioner. noisy air con NO or LITTLE car parking. Not having our room serviced due to a public holiday. The level of cleanliness inside and out was not quite up to scratch. The whole motel needed a good clean inside and out. Small rooms very dated. The pool area was disgusting the pool was full of dirt,leaves and tree branches. Not sure who rated it as 4 star but it is only a 2 star in my opinion. Bed uncomfortable Noisy. Bit run down. The room was very small (on photos it looked larger). And the main drawback: it was unpleasantly cold (and the bathroom even colder)! Even running the heater on max power didn't make it warm enough. Looks like the reason is that its windows see virtually no sunshine during the day (this may turn into advantage in summer though). Very rude reception staff. Surprised such bad and unwelcoming behavior could be found in the hospitality business. Too much traffic noise, couldn't sleep well overnight. Very rusted and moldy tap, possibly poisonous- unsafe for guests. The bungalow room was small, basic, noisy and felt unsafe. It made staying there pretty uncomfortable. It was cheap but for a reason. I wouldn't recommend to anyone. Not clean. Expensive breakfast.
