  Service is wonderful, owner friendly, breakfasts are great, and the packed lunches that are offered for sale here are huge - incredible deal. We stayed a second time after a trip to el chalten and it felt like coming home. Location is very good (el calafate is a very small town) right near pura vida and a short walk to the bus station. - This w... what people say » as perfect, we really love this place. Many nice details and a beautiful view. Just 1 minute by car to the city center. Thanks so much to Claudia and Federico for your hospitality, we felt like being home and did not want to leave. Great you are so enthusiastic about what you are doing. Tip: try the self-made yogurt!

  We were quite amazed by the quality of the facilities and room considering the price we paid for it. The staff is really friendly and the breakfast is great. Although it is not in the center, Calafate is really a small town and the Hotel is within walking distance (10 m) from the main streets. - Extremely supportive staff. Very good breakfast (one of the best we found in Argentina). Marcelo (the taxi driver) can be highly recommended for individual tours.

  The room and the hosteria were nice and clean. The hosteria is located 15 minutes walk from the city center, but honestly it is not an issue and in terms of landscape, it is much better to be a little bit outside of the center of el calafate, that is packed with shops and other tourist staff not really worth spending the night close to. Adriana wa... what people say » s really helpful and she made us feel like "at home", which we found very pleasant. We really had a wonderful time. - Definitely our favorite place we had stayed after a month in South America. Other reviews complain about its location. We didn't think the walk was bad. The place's charm and Adriana's hospitality easily outweigh any concerns about the location anyways. Super comfortable room and legitimately hot shower at all times. Adriana's homemade treats were the star of the show though. I highly recommend staying here.
