Liked the grounds. Especially the sound of the water spray behind our room. Liked the size of the refrigerator and the microwave. Liked that there were table and chairs inside our room and right outside our front door on a covered lanai. Liked the pool and BBQ area even thought we did not use. Liked the location near the causeway and not far from

Great location...close to the beach and shops/restaurants. Love renting bikes and beach chairs umbrellas. Pool is clean and great! Love the pond in the back with turtles. No one is breathing down your neck but staff will help if you ask. Nice rooms, fridge, comfy beds and coffee maker.

The rooms are large and clean. The beach is steps away from your room and the view is beyond compare.
The Shalimar staff are friendly and welcoming and the grounds and facilities are perfectly maintained.
I can count on a quiet and relaxed vacation when I stay at the Shalimar.

We loved the place! The location to the beach is very close. Has a nice pool.
The location on the Island is great; easy to get around the traffic from there but yet close to everything.
It was very quiet!!
We will probably go back there.

This is a slice of "Old Florida"...very rustic and what Florida was like many years ago...I loved it...it was simple, basic accommodations that were clean, quiet and in a beautiful setting...I also liked that each cottage had it's own gas grill outside for cooking...and we were mere steps from the beach...I will definitely come back! -

... τι λέει ο κόσμος » , had everything we needed...all the little extras (beach towels, beach toys, umbrellas, grilling utensils and lighter) Even upgraded us to the 3 bedroom beach house! Had a beautiful view of the water! will definately go back!

I loved the fact that the staff was very informative. It was just a short walk to the beach, and the scenery was gorgeous!!! The room itself was perfect for us!!! We only stayed for one night, but we could have EASILY stayed a whole week. All the amenities: kitchen, bathroom, beds, dining area, and full living room. My favorite part was the screen

We had a great time at Colony my family loved the room very neat and
clean.. We went with some friends. We will book again next year just
this time will do directly with Colony Resort instead throught another
website. The lady in the reception was amazing very friendly.. We
definitely will book next year for more days for better deal!
