Location was fabulous with easy access to downtown if needed with cable car outside the door- Room was wonderful, very spacious and beautifully decorated with amazing views of the city - Deluxe room on 10th floor - 2 beds - All of the staff were very friendly and helpful although we did not avail of the concierge or spa services. - offered compl

Rooms were very comfortable and clean; I was a little nervous upon arriving and seeing how old the place is, but it became very clear that they are constantly upgrading (brand new Kohler bathroom fixtures) - nothing is too old or outdated. And the location is great.

We were very pleased with our selection of hotel. When we arrived we had been upgraded from a Queen room to a Suite so were delighted. Having 2 bathrooms was a definite bonus. This hotel is "top drawer" all the way! - The hotel was quite grand, and very luxerious in the common areas. The location worked well for us, as we seemed to be no more than a 10 minute cab ride from just about every where we went. The view from our Tower room was the clincher. We had a beautiful bay view.

When we arrived, they were unloading brand new mattresses for all the rooms...Nice! It's a newly renovated hotel going for the "boutique" category. I'd say they were a success with that effort. For the price it had everything I expected and more. While small the spa area and exercise area were superior and the staff GREAT. I just wish it opened earlier than 9 am. The staff was very good as was the business center ( small but adequate). I would stay t here again and would recommend it to others.

It was in a perfect location for conference at a Union Square hotel as well as shopping and entertainment. I'd definitely stay there again. Loved it.

location was good but if you go two blocks over it gets a little rough.
wine and snack hour wasn't bad for free but in SF who wants to drink just decent wine?

First time in a 'Boutique Hotel' setting, was amazing, very charming, friendly, convenient to everything, trolley directly outside hotel....restaurants, cafes, shopping, all within walking distance, or hop on trolley. Was very quiet, slept wonderfully. Decor quaint & beautiful. Bed comfy, water pressure great. Bkft included was good & filling. Cannot say enough great things about this adorable hotel. We will definately be back!

I found the service to be excellent and it started way before we even arrived. The concierge helped us to find the right tour companies and plan out our trip so it was everything we wanted. My work takes me to many destinations and i have stayed at many different types of hotels but never have i received the type of great service as I did at this

Overall a very pleasant stay with close proximity to shops and public transport. Gliezl at the front desk was amazing and moved us to a quiet floor after moving twice due to the thinness of the walls. She was professional, friendly and efficient and made sure we got a room without an interleding door as well as a breathtaking bay view!
