We exited the taxi and were welcomed to the Four Seasons with a lei, which we expected. A porter took us to the check-in desk at 11:00 A.M. where only one girl was working. The check-in girl snapped at the porter stating she was already serving someone. Dave came on the scene and checked us in and walked us to the elevator answering all our quest

The staff were very welcoming from when we first arrived. Throughout our stay we were recognized and equipt for with no trouble. All staff were brilliant at remembering our names which was very impressive. Everyone had their role to maximize the fine detail around the hotel, the design was beautiful and the lay out was very nice. Rooms were spacious and homely. I would definatly recommend this hotel.

Everything! The rooms, grounds, facilities and staff were all absolutely delightful. The hotel is smaller and more secluded than many of the resorts in Wailea but offers a free shuttle to town and great beach activities. The restaurant serves food to die for, with friendly staff, and the BBC cocktail from the pool bar is delicious! -

A lovely coffee bar in the morning. Water bottles, towels and shuttle service to the beach were a nice touch. We will definitely return!

Excellent location and the suites were very nice. A spectacular
breakfast spread every morning which was delicious. Neither of the main
restaurants impressed me much and we actually ate at the Four Seasons
(Duo and Ferraro's) twice each. Also ate local food elsewhere.

Absolutely amazing. Everyone treated us like we were the only guests. The check in, bellboy introduction and resort services all made the fairmont an experience to remember. I wish I could have stayed longer. Everything around the grounds were immaculate. The rooms are huge,clean and very well appointed. It definitely felt like paradise. Restaurants were great. Service at Ko was exceptional. There were so many loungers and plenty of grounds and pool space that you never felt crowded anywhere.

It was all the little extras that Travaasa did that sold me! The sandalwood soap, the quality of shampoo and rinse, the soap dish and toothbrush holder. The staff were exemplary!Always going out of their way to insure we had the best care possible!

The place itself was absolutely amazing. It was very high end and well
done from the fixtures to the landscaping. The yoga was a great touch
and I loved the fact it didn't feel "Marriott" or
"Hilton" at all. It's next to Pa'ia which was a great
little hippie town with very affordable food. -

location - great access to the beach, soft sands, and if you walk 10 mins north the snorkeling is great. kitchen area is very handy. renting equipt (snorkel, paddle board) is super easy - go visit the stand right behind Castaway cafe - easy and simple, and Rodrigo is a great instructor. totally recommend them and this place. -

Loved the adult infinity pool and that our room was a few feet away. We had an awesome oceanfront room that was very close to the pool. The pool side staff was very friendly and service was excellent. Front desk was freindly and helpful. Maid service was good too. -

reception staffs were friendly and welcoming; we got upgraded to a suite and loved the spacious room as well as the pool facility; hotel is right on the gorgeous beach with a nice golfing course; overall a great stay definitely lives up to the Ritz-Carlton standard -

The villa is so exclusive. Amenities are within rich. There is a shuttle that pick you up from and to the villa if you don't feel like driving. The place is so comfortable. Although I must say that it's a bit confusing to find the villa if your a first timers since the property is huge. The view is amazing -

The location is beautiful, the hotel is beautiful, staff very friendly and helpful. After arrival they sent us to occupied room, when we returned to front desk, they upgraded us and gave us a voucher for the restaurant. The property is gorgeous! The grounds are spectacular with 7 pools, access to the beach, shops close by, and a decent restaurant on site.
The room was immaculate (I am very picky about cleanliness and use this term sparingly) and very comfortable. I paid rack rate for a one-night's stay, but feel it was worth the price. I wish my stay were longer!

Variety of pools suited all ages. Children of all ages were well catered for and hence adults were able to enjoy the location and amenities and relax, I especially loved my visits to the adults only pool. Our room was fantastic, the beds exceptionally comfortable. The beach was beautiful and I loved having breakfast in the Grand dining room. -

The staff and guests just seemed so much more pleasant and approachable than other resorts we visited in the area. The location, beach and quiet were ideal for us. We visited the Four Seasons, Andaz and Grand Wailea and just felt more "at home" at the Makena. Less pretentious, less "busy", more relaxing, quieter. -
