We traveled with an 8 year old. The room even with a rollaway bed was
very large. The city/lake view was great. The highlight for our
child was the dessert - a snickerdoodle ice cream sandwich - from the
restaurant. It is conveniently located. -

As soon as we settled in our room we received a call to see if we needed anything. People gave service a 6 out of 10 which is rediculous. 10/10 for sure. The best hotel in chicago. - Did not get to spend much time in the hotel, but the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was very lovely, although the lighting could have been brighter.

The location is very central and everything is within a short walking distance. We had a great room on the 29th floor with panoramic view of the city and lake. The staff is very friendly and helpful. -

This was a very upscale hotel and the staff was very attentive. Starting
our experience a week before arrival the hotel's concierge, jen,
helped make our trip an unforgettable experience by arranging the best
reservations for us at great restaurants and jazz venues. She also made
sure we had access to the hotel's car and driver and reserved times

Hotel is outstanding, service is top notch, attention to detail great, our room and view was really perfect. Looked straight out at the Watertower and lake, gorgeous. Housekeeping was awesome, room was spotless and they always managed to appear and take care of everything while we were out of the room, great timing. Food is excellent at this hotel, do not miss the rooftop bar on a beautiful day and lunch at Nomi was excellent. The concierge staff was helpful with every detail and you cannot

Beautiful older Hotel renovated in the last few years, We were there for
our Anniversary and got a really nice room with a great view of the lake
on the 26th floor. Glad we got a good deal on letsbookhotel.com for $229… The
normal rate for the room was $519… ( For me it was definitely a $200
room but not a $500 room ) Great location one block off

Staff was wonderful. Room was nice and big. I never heard any other
guests. Right across the street from John Hancock building. Elegant. I
liked how I could close the doors to the bedroom and watch tv in the
living area. I had a late plane flight and they let me stay until 3p
check out for no charge. Concierge was awesome.

Good things about the room: clean, great shower apart from the bath, the beds, no noise. Good things about the hotel: at night great lighteffects, good bar, nice personnel, luxury looks.
Good things about neighbourhood of the hotel: lots of restaurants(also for breakfast) and bars around, in the middle of the most important shopping area, lots of interesting things to see and to do (for exemple boattour, musea) on a walking distance.

We loved everything. We have stayed at several large and boutique hotels on the Gold Coast and the Peninsula is probably the best across the board. I have a difficult last name, but all of the staff immediately remembered it and also pronounced it correctly. -

The hotel is in a good location, a couple of blocks from the Hancock Center, Oak Street Beach, and the Museum of Contemporary Art. I loved that it is an nice,affordable, hotel very close to the Magnificent Mile. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I liked the kitchen in room: full fridge, stove, microwave, and dishes. The beds have very firm matresses.... which I like. We also had a nice view of the lake from our room. I really enjoyed staying there. It is in a nice clean area of Chicago.

The hotel is in an excellent location. I really like the courtyard and the clean environment.The staff were excellent especially the janitors -
5 star service. Warm and friendly staff. The fact that they do not accept tips made their committment to excellence all the more valid.

the value for money was amazing...really good price for a nice room, excellent staff (they bring a microwave when we wanted to warm our meal), useful facilities especially the working room where we printed our flight tickets. - The hotel was very central to all the main attractions we wanted to see and do in Chicago.
