  We loved the view, the size, the stove and refrigerator, and location to Central Park West. I will stay here again!   The lobby is comfortable and attractive. Staff was friendly and helpful. I had a problem the first night--smoke detector battery signal went off with a voice warning of low battery. A call got a maintenance man there in minutes. In the morning I asked about the disturbance and was offered a room upgrade. Getting to 8th and 9th Avenue is easy - The hotel is less than 5 minutes walking distance to Times Square and to two separate subway lines which run 24hours. Sights such as MoMa and Rockefeller Plaza are walking distance away. The room, bed linens and bathroom towels were clean. Bathrooms were clean as well. Rooms were cleaned Dailey and towels refreshed daily a well. Staff was helpful and friendly. The queen room accommodated my needs perfectly. The bed was comfortable.

  Even from walking through the doors the lobby was friendly and professional, the bar was amazing, helpful staff. The room was basic but had everything we needed. My partner loved the tinted glass bathroom and the bed was comfy.   Our experience was great from our reception by the doorman helping us with our bags, our greeting as we checked in and the comfort of our room. We even got a n/c upgrade.   I like everything about our stay at the Hampton Inn at 35th St. All of the staff from the desk reception, maintenance and cleaning staff were very friendly and professional!
