  Stanton street was a Great location with lots of reasonably priced eateries nearby. I have stayed in central manhattan in the past and by comparison I think the lower east side had more soul and we felt more at home and that we were locals for the couple of weeks that we stayed there. It was easy to get about with Essex Delancey street subway st... τι λέει ο κόσμος » ation nearby. Little, Italy ,Chinatown east and west villages and Soho were all within walking distance. Many buses both cross town and up and downtow - This Bed and Breakfast is the most desirable hotel we have ever stayed in the New York City area. From the exceptionally clean lobby, friendly and competent manager-- along with the quietness of the rooms where we had stayed on two different occasions-I fully recommend this Bed and Breakfast to anyone who would like to have peace and quiet while visiting New York. There was never a question of safety,roaches or bedbugs. All linens were carefully placed on the bed,along with the other simple and
