We booked a large room and were upgraded to a suite with living room andbalcony. Very nice touch. I would definitely stay there again. This isbeing stated by someone who lives and works in nyc. At the desk, Dennis verified my information quickly and was quite friendly (I've been to enough hotels in NYC to recognize when I'm not a "room number" [based on the amount I have paid for a room] vs a "real person" [treated as if it didn't matter which room I paid for. Stayed here for a couple of days before dropping my daughter to summer
camp. The staff here are so welcoming and bend oer backwards to please.
We were upgraded upon arrival. The rooms and bathrooms in this hotel are
huge compared to most rooms in Manhattan and the decor is funky yet
comfortable. The location is fabulous. 3 minutes to Grand Central
Station and about 10 minutes to Macys. I love this hotel so much that
I'm going back in 3 weeks to stay for a week!!!

This is a "Classic" hotel that is part of the Waldorf Astoria. Separate entrance, separate doorman, concierge, etc. Feels like "Old New York". Rooms have 15 ft ceilings and wonderful architecture. We had two rooms and our daughter's room was modern, phenomenal bath all in marble. great, personal, service. Will definitely stay again. -

The room was lovely and had such a welcoming, warm, homely and cosy atmosphere when I first walked in, with soft lighting and classical music drifting through it. - Beds were very comfortable. Room was well lit and quiet. Ample seating.

The room was somewhat on the small side (1 king bed, room with two queens is larger but also more expensive) but I guess that is common in NY where space is limited and hotel prices are high. This is a beautiful hotel. The room was extremely clean and up-to-date. Our beds were comfortable. It definitely fit our needs for NYC. It was very close to everything - walking distance to 5th Avenue, Broadway, Times Square - but we were not in the midst of the crowds, noise and chaos. Very nice flat at Times Square which provides the possibility to experience life in NYC much more than a "normal" hotel room. Price was very reasonable for the quality of the services offered (modern apartment with plenty of space, full set of cooking / eating tools, two high quality TV sets including one good size LCD screen, free WiFi in the room

The position is simply perfect to visit Manhattan, very close to Times Sq., the 5th Av., the theater distr. and a couple of strategic subway stations. Location was excellent... On 51st St. between 5th and 6th Ave. Right across from Radio City Musical Hall, and the Rockefeller Plaza/Center, plus the Subway station was around the corner.
The room was a bit small, but comfortable enough for 3 (2 adults & one kid). The small fridge and microwave were a plus! The lobby is small compare to other big hotels, but it was quiet. The staff was always nice and helpful. I will stay there again!
