The rooms were really nice and the beds were super comfortable. Staff was very friendly. The on-site gym was under repair during my visit but they provided guest aces to the YMCA gym just around the corner. ironically that was one of the highlights of my trip as the Y had one of the best retired weight rooms I have seen in a long time. -
... τι λέει ο κόσμος » On calling manager regarding problems with room he quickly had the room with king size cleaned and made available. Complimentary drinks and snacks in bar until room ready. Complimentary breakfasts for two days. Problem with toilet on third day repaired straight away. Staff very courteous and friendly.

This was my 18th hotel in 30 days and was the best. The gaslight district is a short walk and there is heaps to do in the area. The staff went out of there way to advise on things to do. Special pat on the back to Jen who obviously takes much pride in the hotel, doing her job well and making sure all visitors are happy. The taxi stand is at the ho

city-feeling hotel, old school with
modern touches. The hotel was on
the hilly part of downtown San Diego, overlooking the City itself with a distant view of the Harbor; along with a walkway extending outward with table and chairs for outside sitting to catch the incredible breeze. I liked the personal touch of a "sail boat" greeting card, which everyone signed, placed in the hotel room.

It was conviniently located in downtown, not too far from the main attractions that we went to see in S.D. Great price for the area. Very Clean. Continental breakfast which was included daily was ok. - Convenient location, staff very accomodating, room very spacious and clean.

Lovely hotel-big room really quiet (don't hear other guests) &
hardly hear traffic. Super comfortable beds. Great choice for downtown
as away from the noise of Bars etc & traffic and close enough to
walk. We stayed 9 nites here in total -left another hotel & came
back here. Would absolutely recommend it & would def come back here

Great free breakfast (Basics: fruit, cereal, waffles, eggs, yogurt, juice, coffee) Perfect for the AM. Nice remodeled bathrooms, great sheets and an always changed duvet cover with every new guest. Great location if trying to catch a cruise ship across the street. -

The position of the hotel on the bay, and our bay view room had
excellent views which made for an interesting stay. Nice pool area, just
big enough, and towels were provided which is a nice touch. A shuttle
bus was available to take us to three different areas of the city and
also regular trips to the airport. We were in a great area to take

1. the location is perfect! USS Midway museum is whithin 5 minutes walk distance, Seaport Villiage, 15 minutes of walk, other places of interests, e.g. Seaworld, Bolboa park and San Diego Zoo, are easy connected either by the free shuttle or the quick-'n'-easy public transportations.
2. staff nice and effective, very helpful on making sggestions to your trip plans

Best value!!!! I loved having the restaurant on the same floor as our
room. We visited happy hour and drank their signature cocktails for only
$5 each! And not to mention wine Wednesday - half off bottles!!! So
happy! We also loved walking to little Italy for dinner. We had a
delicious dinner. Our cab ride to gaslamp was only $13 with tip. Perfect

I liked the fact that it had a balcony, the bathrooms were a good size, the tv was a nice flat screen, the AC was amazing, the bed was incredibly comfortable, the restaurant/bar was very nice and the staff was extremely friendly, and the location of the hotel itself is in a great spot.

Great service from the front desk. Carlos was accomodating with keeping us away from the elevator. They even let us check in early.
Quiet hotel - We really appreciated this during a heavy holiday weekend.
The staff gave us tips on what to do during the holiday weekend.

Carlos at the front desk was very friendly and helpful in giving us
information on how to get around since we did not rent a car. Very
convenient location and close to trolley stop and little Italy
restaurants. We would stay again for sure.
