  Beautiful hotel in the best location. The rooms are very clean and the staff is amazing. The hotel is located by really nice cafes and great restaurants, although I would stay away from the Italian restaurant right next door. Bad service and not very good.   This hotel is "top drawer" all the way! - The hotel was quite grand, and very luxerious in the common areas. The location worked well for us, as we seemed to be no more than a 10 minute cab ride from just about every where we went. The view from our Tower room was the clincher. We had a beautiful bay view.

  We had a wonderful stay with our family- the rooms are bit cramp, but we knew this. We wanted to stay near union square and that we did. We were able to really enjoy everything in walking distance. We would return again.   I'm not sure why this hotel doesn't get better reviews. My girlfriend and I stayed for two days and had a great experience. The staff was friendly, the location was great, room was clean and updated. We stayed in room 404, which I highly recommend. I'm not sure sure why so many people complain at Da Vinci Villa on here, I would recommend it to everyone - Terrific suite with fantastic view of the Golden Gate Bridge. Welcoming and helpful staff. Convenient parking, although daily charge of $25 plus tax seemed a little high. Good continental breakfast, with fresh fruit, pastries, and bagels, bread, preserves etc. Great location for walking to Fishermans Wharf etc, or the great value bus into the city.
