The decor, location were exceptional and even though the renovations weren't complete it didn't detract from our stay. The happy hour at reception was a great idea. We booked the King Deluxe room. From letsbookhotel.com the value was awesome
for San Fran. The bed was very comfortable. The room was clean and far
uptodate than standard hotel rooms, iphone docking on the clock,
widescreen tv, DirectTV... Yes I said DirectTV. Although the room was

This was my first stay at Abri, but it won't be my last. What a perfect oasis in the busy shopping area and so conveniently located to mass transit. Small hotel with lots of class. Staff were warm and very helpful. Made me feel special.

The Room was great. Very Clean. Hotel front desk woman with an accent
wasn't warm, but helpful. The guy who worked the front desk on
Saturday night was awesome. The art going up the staircase looked like a
mess. I know art, this was design student style. Sorry. Just saying.
Looked like elements were peeled off. Cool... If it was a cohesive
piece.

The restaurant dinner we had was
fabulous, very high quality menu.
The foyer was well designed but not that welcoming for comfort.We liked the state of the art room key system.
Free cocktails were great and the knowledgeable wine waiter and great waiter Ryan.
General ambience,decor and atmosphere was good especially cocktail bar and live music.
Considering it was a city hotel with obviously limited space we really enjoyed our stay there.

The location was the best. Also, having the Daily Grill restaurant right next door was very convenient. - The hotel has exceptional location! The breakfast was among the best I've had in San Francisco.

Such a great location and great welcome from staff - it is the little touches like happy hour free drink and light breakfasts for all guests that make this place so special . For a solo traveller the opportunity to say hi to other guests and have some company at the end of a business day makes me a repeat visitor from NZ

The hotel is still going through some renovations, but the room was excellent, comfy and quiet. The staff was very friendly. The location is only 1/2 a block from Powell and the cable car line. The room. It has such a character. We enjoyed the atmosphere of the barwith live music as well. The hotel was very clean which was a big plus. - It was in close proximity to everything fun about San Francisco.

Friendly and efficient staff, quick check-in (and a couple of hours earlier than scheduled time), nice breakfast, quiet and comfortable room, nice toiletery products in the bathroom, great proximity to Union Square and public transport, great value for money. I would stay at this hotel again and will certainly highly recommend it to my family and

The hotel has a lovely feel to it - pleasant staff on arrival; comfortable rooms; well positioned for an easy stroll into town and access to all amenities. A free daily happy hour from 4pm to 6pm was a very welcome unexpected bonus. As the name of the hotel might suggest there are strong links to the military and as a visitor from the UK it was pleasing to see the level of respect that is shown.
