The staff was awesome. The front desk gentleman was very welcoming and
gave us great insight into the local dining locations. The lobby
featured a eraser board that "ranked" the local eateries and
that was very helpful. The young lady who checked us out was most
gracious and accomadating and even loaded us up with extra granola
bars for the day. The hotel was not cheap by other towns standards,
but compared to other charges in the Estes Park area it was a value.

The Inn is placed just outside the centre of Estes Park which makes it easy to access and yet handy to go into the town if necessary. It has a great outlook onto the mountains and is of course convenient for access to The Rocky Mountain National Park. Happy hour was a nice surprise. -

Beautiful hotel. History in and around the hotel kept us busy for hours.
We never re- entered our vehicle once we got there. The price of the
hotel compensated for staying there, and not leaving the destination for
night life. We did not do any tours, but still had a great time. The

We loved the historical setting and views of the Rockies from almost every window, as well as the short walk down to Estes Park for dining and shopping. Every staff member we spoke with was friendly, knowledgeable, and very accomodating!

The front desk staff and manager were great! As for the room itself it was clean, comfortable and enjoyed the quiet of the area. It was the bomb when the Elk were right by our room and we got to go out and take pictures and see them close up. LOVED IT!! -

We rented one of the two bedroom units and were very happy with our visit. Staff was very helpful and friendly, as were our neighbors. We had one of the rooms that had not been renovated, but it was still clean. Location is great - very close to Estes Park and the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. It was an excellent place especially for the price. We were only there for one night so it didn't need to be spacious. We were in town for a wedding and when we traveled to the wedding sight we saw plenty of Elk! We even bought the painting that was on the wall we liked it so much! We live in Virginia but I spent the first 25 years of my life as a Coloradoan and we were very excited to buy a painting with Aspens to add to our Virginia home.

This is a really great value. It's not fancy, but it is CLEAN and the surprisingly spacious. The continental breakfast has everything you might want and although I know the managers didn't do this on purpose, I thought it was so cool that when we came out for breakfast, there was a wild elk just hanging out on the grass area. This place is great!! You can't beat being able to walk down town instead of having to find a parking space. The staff is amazing, the rooms are very clean and it's reasonably priced! We love staying here, and will never stay anywhere else!

Great room, great bathroom. The hotel is located just behind a golf course, were several elks live! Every morning (before sunset) they can be found just a few steps from your bedroom door. Everything was wonderful. the staff was so nice and the facilities were VERY clean. Our room was a little dated (almond colored bathtub) but everything still looked brand new so that didn't bother me a bit. I've stayed in 5 star hotels that were not as clean as this place.
