We arrived before check-in time, and our room was not ready as we had
anticipated. Still, staff was very apologetic. Noting from the
reservation that it was our 51st Wedding Anniversary that day, they
upgraded our room! It was beautiful, and we were really touched. I would
reserve that same room again, even at the higher rate. In addition, the
wonderful bell boy, Roberto, brought up a chilled bottle of champagne -
compliments of the hotel. Every time we requested assistance - with a
cab, etc. -. όλα τα σχόλια »
The staff was friendly and helpful. There is no elevator at the hotel, and the bellman carried both of our large, heavy suitcases to our room with a smile on his face. The breakfast in the hotel restaurant was excellent. The hotel was centrally located within Carmel, and it was very easy to walk to the beach and the shops/restaurants in town. A charming experience.
The staff really contributed to an enjoyable stay. We wish we could have visited longer. The breakfast and hour hour was additional benefits offered during our stay. We plan to come back!.
We enjoy staying at the Pine Inn when we visit Carmel for the location,
the comfort of the suites, the friendliness of the staff and the
restaurant(Il Fornio) for breakfast.
The Pine Inn is a joy, very different to the other hotels we stayed in. It is beautiful and so is Carmel. The breakfast is fantastic, would come back in a heartbeat.
Location was on downtown Carmel, excellent for being able to walk to all points of interest. Served excellent morning brunch. Staff was very friendly and efficient.
The lobby of the hotel is beautifully decorated. The decor of the rooms is nice. The location was great. Right in the heart of Carmel. Breakfast buffet was nice.
The room was spacious and decorated nicely. Staff was friendly. Location could not have been better. Breakfast was the best we've enjoyed any place on this trip.
The location and quaintness in Carmel, Ca. The easy, on site parking and the charm of the lobby. Breakfast was an added treat that we were not expecting.
Room #9which I requested. After complaining they said, "Room # 9 is
available and very quiet". They said letsbookhotel.com made no mention of
my request.
Location to shops, restaurants, and beach afforded easy access to all by
walking. American breakfast served during the week wasd an added bonus.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean. Very quiet. Front desk was always happy to get us what we needed. Ice, more towels etc.
Location in the village was great and the breakfasts are excellent. Great parking and wi fi access initially difficult but fine in the end..
Liked the feel of boutique hotel. Especially liked attached restaurant
and bar. Very cool, convenient, and under advertised by the hotel.
Loved the people ..and the personal touch from the owners with a basket and champagne was over the top..I will be back!.
The staff was courteous, kind and very helpful. The room was very clean
and tidy. The included breakfast at il Fornio.
It is the nicest place to stay in Carmel. Well located on Ocean Ave. We have been staying there for 50 years!!!!!!!!.
Very friendly Staff, great location in a beautiful town, full of great restaurants, Rooms were very good.
the place is a classy, comfortable old-school hotel with a terrific location and a great breakfast.
Loved th Romantic Vintage Decor of lobby and room. Loved the stairs up to our room. Great location.
I love the history and quaintness of the Pine Inn and its location is perfect for Carmel Village.
Environment, very helpful and friendly staff, great breakfast, interesting shops and the ocean.
Very rustic and charming Inn.
Centrally located between the shops, restaurants and the beach.
Staff was great! $5 happy hour for pizza and drinks was fantastic. Breakfast was very good.
The location is excellent. Right in the heart of Carmel and walking distance to beach.
I loved everything about the Inn. I am already planning my next trip for next year.
Convenient , quaint, picturesque inn. Provides a great breakfast. Easy parking.
Location, being adjacent to many boutique shops and a major five star restaurant.
the location, the history, the restaurant/bar, good value in expensive Carmel.
Friendly and helpful staff; comfortable and quiet room; convenient location.
Great location. Great staff. Quaint, old fashioned hotel. Loved
Il Fornio.
The location cannot be beat! Just walk outside and let the shopping begin!.
Helpful staff.
Warm reception.
Good breakfast.
Good value for money.
Elegant... A throwback to generations past... In a very positive way.
Wonderful staff. Beautiful hotel.
Right in the heart of Carmel.
Location, location, location! Buffet breakfast. Historic hotel.
Location, location, location. One of the closest to the beach.
The old charm and history of the hotel and it's great location.
Quaint and charming - including the desk receptionist - Carla.
Hotel in the downtown Carmel shopping area.
Great location.
Great service, breakfast & anniversary remembrances.
The atmosphere as well as
all the items in Question 2.
有一百多年历史的酒店,在卡梅尔镇上很有名。酒店装修很有特点和档次。楼下的意大利餐厅也很好。地理位置极好。.
Atmosphere.
Free parking.
Restaurant next door.
The staff are courteous, friendly and helpful.
Conveniently located, friendly staff,.
Very neat, clean and attractive decor.
Ambience and location were ideal.
Location and happy hour.
Great breakfast.
The room was small and the decor was a bit "fussy", but we knew this going in.
It was all good!.
Not all rooms have air conditioning, but it was not really a problem given the cool temps of the area.
No elevator and long walk to room. Room was small. No air conditioning (but wasn't needed).
No elevator. It was a little difficult for husband with hip problem.
The smell of the cleaning solutions. I wasn't sure if it was from the store,Lush, in the front of the hotel or from what is being used in the hotel, that created the smell. It was nauseating.
Room # 31 where the kitchen exaust goes up the center of the wall and is
very noisy. Had that room before and had to complain the next day.
No refrigerator in the room nor was there any air conditioning. Was fairly hot during our stay. Windows did not have any screens so when left open, we shared the rooms with insects.
No lift and awkward stairs...
No complaints, although, due to design, probably would be a little warm
during hot weather.
The tv channel selection.
if only breakfast went until 10:30...
We were in room 32 and the Bathroom door could not close all the way. It needs to be re hung. Also missed having a Coffee Maker in room.
Their Il Fornaio restaurant is very attractive but the food is sub par.
Our room was too small, we could not walk around the room at the same time. The charge for the coffee before breakfast. I think the lobby could have coffee for early risers.
The noise level that could be heard from inside room. Between the people making like elephants walking up the steps to the people on the third floor talking loud at 6:30 AM, not a great place to get some rest.
No elevator.
Our room was too hot. Could not turn off heater. Hotel staff unable to turn off either.
Tiny tiny rooms.
not much not to like.
Our only criticism is that the shower head in our room was not
adjustable, and could not be used to wash long hair.
The rooms are very small with little spare space around the bed. I realize this comes from being an historic hotel.
Very small room and bed too small for two people.
No elevator.
Little air circulation coupled with limited ability to switch on fan at night since it was also tied into the overhead ligth.
Rooms were a little small.
Door to the side enterance left open making the lobby very cold. Hotel seemed to discourage the use of the lobby.
Need a ramp to accomodate large heavy suitcases.
Couldn't open widow so room was a little bit warm.
No elevator, but I heard it is the same in other inn.
Noisy room we asked to change rooms, the staff were very accommodating and gave us an upgrade.
The room was very warm; temperature control was difficult.
Rooms were small and breakfast wasn't served until 8am.
Room was warm even with fan. Bed a bit lumpy.
