It was not only literally surrounded by boats but was right by the coast bike path and close to a number of interesting walks around the largest man-made marina in the world.   most everything, location near airport and I405 and city, but no city hassles and lots of good restaurants within a block or two. Low traffic, lively at night. Architecture and history of building and scale and pace of district (Culver City) compared with LA in general. We always stay here when in LA because of above and because of reasonable rates. - The staff were incredibly friendly and very helpful and hospitable, the room was very comfortable and I could have stayed in the shower all day it was so good. I would definitely reccomend this hotel to other travellers. I was a little concerned about it's location but it is right in the middle of Culver City which had a superb selection of restaurants and bars to chose from. It is also only a short trip from LAX.

  I liked the quaint decor and the small, intimate design of the hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly. And the patio area was just so relaxing and visually pleasing. The smallness of the rooms did not bother us since they were so cute. Its a quaint, charming boutique hotel with a European or Spanish ambiance feel. The staff couldn't be more accommodating and friendly. The interior terrace is a wonderful place to have breakfast in the morning or chill out there at the end of your day. The rooms are small but cozy with the feel of staying at a friends house as opposed to a hotel. I I would recommend this hotel to all of my friends.
