Breakfast better than I had expected it might be; minor glitches (eg air con stopped) fixed immediately; location was fine (on the E subway; good access to JFK and downtown) lots of choice for easy eating. This was a very clean hotel. Room was nicely decorated and the bed was
super comfortable. Perfect place to stay if you are going the a wedding
at the Inn at New Hyde Park. The staff was great and very friendly. My
husband and I were pleasantly surprised. Don't be put off my past

Staff was superb! Customer service was excellent! We had an experience in the lounge where a man came up to our group of friends table. He was very drunk, unwelcome and we had no idea who he was or what he was doing. The staff and manager immediately addressed the issue and asked him to leave. Awesome stay! Very clean! Everything from the food to the staff and the rooms were perfect. The manager was so helpful as I wanted to surprise my boyfriend with an intimate dinner. Hi folks, Check in staff were helpful with questions. Breakfast buffet
staff were really helpful and friendly. Struck up conversations with
staff that make a personal touch in the restaurant. Asian meal was
healthy: rice, seaweed, kimchi, miso soup... Enjoyed a dip in the pool
with my kids and a good work out in the gym with weights, universal, and
stationary bikes. Free hourly bus to #7 subway line was convenient into

Comfort and quiet surroundings -
Proximity to the airport and ease of getting in to the city. Also surprisingly quiet being so close to the airport, and shuttle driver was great.

Hotel is 'as-expected' but 7 blocks from subway in a nothing-
special neighbourhood. We had a small issues with our booking through
the website : we booked 3, they expected 2 and although a bit stubborn
to start they fixed the problem. The gym is ok but the pool hours are
too short : 10 to 6pm
