We were greeted by a very friendly man who couldn't do enough for us. He allowed us into our room much earlier than usual as we wanted to get ready for a wedding nearby. The room was lovely, clean and had all the necessary bits and bobs we needed (including a hand-held magnifying mirror!).
Beds were comfortable, the bathroom was light and clean.

Would recommend this hotel to others. -
A lovely inn with good, clean rooms and a good sized ensuite bathroom ..and, at times, a working TV... sinceours didn't work!. However, everybody pulled out all the stops to get the TV in working order; alas, it was not to be. We were offered free drinks as compensation in the pub, which we appreciated very much. Other than this amusing story, we had a great time in this lovely place and would definitely go back!

The hotel was in an ideal location in Windermere. We have just purchased a boat at the marina, and this was ideal for us. The hotel was excellent, food excellent, facilities excellent, and staff extremely helpful. We found this delightful place very near to the village center. The owner and her daughter were extremely polite, caring and helpful, on our arrival they had provided us with loads of guides and plenty of info for our hiking trip across and around the lakes. And breakfast every morning was something to look forward to at this place, most attentive

We had room 3 with the 4 poster bed, it was soooooo comfortable! Diane
the b&b owner was very hospitable, she tailored our stay to meet our
needs, my friend left her electric cigarette charger at home so Diane
let us use her personal computer to charge it. Also, when we got there
Diane had left leaflets and a map on our bed, this helped so much during
our stay. The breakfast was nice and the location is perfect, a 5 minute
walk in to the village of windemere and a 20 minute walk to bowness

Upon arrival we were greeted in a friendly manner. The whole place was fantasticly decorated to a high standard. Very clean, comfortable and spacious rooms. Breakfast was nvery good and a nice choice to choose from. The few extra touches such as DVD tv and radio in the bathroom were appreciated too, just a pity we didn't bring a DVD to watch. Park

Bright, clean rooms, comfortable beds, excellent breakfast and friendly host. This was our third visit to The Coach House. We keep coming back because its perfect for what we want from a short break. Great location for fantastic walks, close to both Bowness and Windermere for a choice of restaurants, shops and activities.

Roz and Garry made my husband and I feel very welcome.The break was to celebrate my 50th birthday,we couldn't have chosen a better place.The hotel was very clean,bed was comfortable and the breakfast was amazing,good value for money.We will go back again . - They are very friendly and you will be really enjoy to stay in this guest house.

The couple who run the guest house, Yana and Ian, are lovely, very
welcoming and accomodating. The guest house is well kept, clean and the
breakfast is good quality. They also, when we stayed, offered little
'extras' in the mornings I.E. as it was over Easter home made
hot-cross buns and little chocolate gifts were avaliable on the
breakfast table. Home made cakes were also left in our room for our
return on some days and tea and coffee etc was kept well stocked. We

The owner, Linda, is a delightful, kind and hospitable person. She could not have been more helpful. While to place is small and there is really no place to relax other than the beds themselves, it seems consistent with the style of Guest House in the area. -

Very quiet and adequate. Beds clean and comfy. A lovely old house full of character which had a nice feel about it but very tired and dated. No problem with that as price was fair. Decorators were coming in as we were leaving so hotel is making effort. Wi-Fi very fast and reliable. This old building must be expensive to upkeep. -

Rather than catch a bus he offered to drop us off on his way. I don't think this sort of service would come from a 5 star international hotel.

Ian was a very good host, he was friendly and informative and easy to talk to. This stay was made more enjoyable with his personal touch.
He prepared delightful English & Vegetarian breakfasts for us. We loved his mushrooms and coffee.
The room is small but cosy. This isn't a luxury hotel so for the price we paid, it is great value-for-money.

Great value B&B for myself and my baby. Our single room was upgraded
to a tripple, cot and high chair were provided at no extra cost. Tv in

They suggested places to see and eat. The rooms are excellent, clean and tidy. We'll be returning at some point with friends of ours. The location of the guest house is bang in the middle of the important places to eat and visit. Couldn't have chosen a better place to spend our 3 days in the lake...
