The staff were brilliant with their attention to detail. The menu allowed for gluten free and even had gluten free bread rolls which we were not expecting. The decor was a perfect mix of Farrow & Ball meets current day. Our room was to die for.. four poster bed with a rolltop bath in the room. It was the perfect Saturday night get away from the real world. There was a problem with the original room that we booked and they called us in advance to warn us that plumbing works might not be fini. όλα τα σχόλια »
Staff were very pleasant and made us feel special for my husbands birthday celebration, the rooms were amazing and loved the bath in the room. Would highly recommend and would stay there again.
Very close to Stansted Airport with no air traffic disturbance. Very friendly staff. 20 sqm very clean room with a large bathroom & a very comfortable king size bed. Top value for money.
Nice ambiance, Well equipped rooms, Super shower, Excellent restaurant, Friendly staff. All in all good value for money.
The food on offer was fantastic. The room entirely lived up to expectation. We were made to feel very welcome.

Hot water wasnt hot hot like I like it for the bath but I am sure that it is something that could have been rectified if we had of had the time.
There were no available tables for dinner so we ate in the bar which was great but the restaurant is obviously a destination place in the area and so it would have been nice to have been forewarned about how busy it is and been able to book.
There was no parking.
A safe in the room would have been much appreciated...
There was a fair amount of street noise. As the rooms were quite warm, not opening the window was not an option.
I noticed they had put a note beside our reservation that we were celebrating our anniversary, but this didn't seem to draw any comment from the staff. That said, it's probably a good thing if they offer such great service to any couple regardless of event!.

No on site parking so had to top meter up at 8am. Woken up by noisy traffic and cleaner hoovering at 06.30!.

Nothing it was all fantastic.
no hairdrier. stairs. no air con, could be a big problem in the rooms and dining area. My husband and I felt that the Hotel was decorated beutifully, its a shame that when the Hotel was refurbished air con was not installed, it was very uncomfertable trying to sleep with the heavy duvet!.

Arrived Sunday and checked in around 6:00. Missed the evening meal sitting, which stops at 8:00 by 5 minutes. It might have been helpful if the manager had mentioned this, or made any effort to help me find an alternative. Morning staff were much more friendly.
We found linden house to be a bit pricey for the smallness of the room
and bathroom. Breakfast very good but again over priced at £10 a head
Check out lady very condescending and we felt she spoke down to us when
we tried to explain the reason for questioning the amount of times the
card details were requested.
Plumbing. Both hand basins had plugs we were unable to operate.
Lighting was very economical, bulbs of low wattage and poor light.
No immediate car parking facilities, a walk of about 100 yards to the nearest public (pay and display)car park.
Room not ventilated and stuffy. Noisy location as on stairwell. No dinner available on the Sunday night we stayed which we were not aware of when booking, thankfully there was a Tesco Express near by!.
The room was very hot and could not cool down. Window opened to the street and was too noise to have open during the night.
Unable to sleep room so hot even with heating off !!.
Pokey room with tv and shower not working properly. Stake sandwiches and rude staff at afternoon tea. Would not recommend this place. Not value for money.
