We found our first experience of Jersey very welcoming because of the
staff and facilities and comfort of the Shakespear. We came for the
Jersey cat show and the staff were very kind and considerate towards our

We had a brilliant (and unexpectedly extended !) stay at The
Shakespeare. The room was comfortable and very well fitted out, with a
superb view. The Cafe South, with similar sea views, is a delightful
place for breakfast and dinner, and the food was excellent. Special
mention must be made of all the restaurant staff, who were exceptionally
friendly and efficient - by the time we left, we felt like we were old
friends. We will certainly recommend this hotel, and wish the owners
every success for

The hotel was far better equipped than I had expected. The room was spotlessly clean, also the bathroom was excellent, with big fluffly towels! Mot of the staff were very helpful and courteous. especially in the dining room.... Excellent.
Liked our room and the gardens, very relaxing. general atmosphere of the place very good. -
the staff were very friendly and helpful.I was with my 6 year old grandson and we had problems getting him out of the swimming pool.
