The rooms were spacious and comfortably furnished and equipped with everything one could possibly need for a few days break. It feels like a family home with a very welcoming atmosphere yet you are free to come and go whenever you want. There was a wide choice of tasty options for breakfast and cooked meals included eggs from the family hens. Springwood feels so much like home! The owners were exceptionally obliging in ensuring that we had everything we could possibly need to have a happy stay there. Seahouses is a higgledy-piggledy village on the coast with wonderful food and drink in quaint pubs and restaurants near the harbour. Favourites - lots of fish dishes; game pie; pheasant casserole etc. There are lots of castles and places of interest in the area. Bamburgh Castle dominates the vicinity, and has some lovely views of the co.
Springwood is set on the edge of the village overlooking fields and
countryside. Ian and Marion are excellent hosts and are willing to help
in whatever way they can. Our bedroom was very clean, comfortable and
spacious. Lovely ensuite bathroom. We particularly appreciated having a
small fridge in our room. No complaints whatsoever and all the other
guests we met during our stay had stayed there before, which is an
excellent recommendation in itself.
A friendly quiet clean establishment rooms were lovely and the views were beautiful I enjoyed the full English breakfast as well.
As this was our 15 year anniversary there was a bottle of champagne and some chocolates waiting for us in our room, overall I would definitely recommend springwood to friends and family it made a special time that bit more special!.
Marion and Ian made you feel as thou you were at home.

Everything. Very friendly hosta. Very comfortable bed, everything extremely clean, tea and coffee making facilities and fresh milk in the fridge, delightful views Marion and Ian's local knowledge was invaluable, the boat trip to see birds and seals so memorable and the breakfast delicious.
The room was lovely; spacious and well decorated. The bathroom had an excellent shower over the bath. The owners were friendly and the breakfast was very good. I had read the reviews about the eggs and thought them a little strange. Now I understand; the eggs really were wonderful.
This is the best B&B we have stayed at.the extra little touches in our room,a fridge with juice ,water,fresh milk,homemade cakes by the cups.the welcome by the owners and the breakfasts were top quality.the walk to Seahouses harbour was a gentle stroll taking 10 minutes.
We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend stay at Springwood.The ensuite room & breakfast were second to none.Beautiful views. Perfect hosts. We highly recommend staying there & hope to return in the future.

Quiet setting overlooking open fields/riding school. Rooms spacious, clean and comfortable with modern en-suite. Hosts friendly. Breakfasts superb quality and choice. Close to restaurants and shops Golf course close at hand. Large car park.
The annex was private with a lovely view,able to sit out and enjoy the scenery and horses. Bottled water in the fridge every day and a piece of cake was a nice gesture to greet you back from your walk+choc for sweet lovers.Very friendly people.
we stayed in the cabin outside and it was perfect. it had everything you wanted and you could open your door and look at the views and the horses. The breakfast set you up for the day and was a good selection. would definitely stay again.
We were made to feel extremely welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. The accommodation was very clean, comfortable with excellent attention to detail. We will definitley be going back , Marion and Ian were lovely people.

The rooms and bathrooms were immaculate. There were some nice little touches such as the home-made treats each day. The guest lounge was great for the evening after arriving back from eating out. Highly recommended.

Very quiet and wonderfully clean and tidy. Hosts had good knowledge of the area and told us good places to visit and where to eat. Great breakfast choice and cooked exactly as requested.

There was nothing I didn't like about springwood was a bit worried about the distance from the town centre but it was actually close to everything we wanted to see.

The room was over the boiler flue - not a problem really, but as the weather was hot we kept the windows open all the time and there was a slight smell and noise when the boiler was active.
