Set in 23 acres of manicured parkland, Rookley Country Park features an indoor and outdoor heated swimming pool, children’s play areas and a wide range of on-site entertainment. Free Wi-Fi is also available. Each cottage features double glazed windows, a fully-equipped kitchen and a 32-inch flat-screen TV. Bed linen and duvets are included, as well as a sofa bed in the lounge area. Silent discos, karaoke nights and live music are featured as part of the on-site entertainment, as well as theme nights, a children’s club and games night. Archery, horse riding and nature trails can also be enjoyed. A full English breakfast is available in the Quarter Deck bar & eaterie, as well as lighter options. Lunch, dinner and a coffee shop are also on offer.

We stayed here 3 times in recent weeks with a sick relative in hospital on the island. The staff were exceptional, very caring, compassionate and helpful. The cottage was warm, spacious, very well equipped and had lovely comfy beds. It was quiet & well-situated for getting around the Island with bus stop and supermarket just outside. Just what we needed at the time. Thank you. We loved the cottage, the cleanliness and facilities inside the cottage. It had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Fresh linen, comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen and a great ambience. W e would love to go back. Would highly recommend this place for families and even for couples. Great value for money. 5 stars for price, facilities and comfort.
όλα τα σχόλια » I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and even extended for an extra night. Staff very friendly and hospitable and check-in took just a few minutes - everything was ready for my arrival. The cottage was very comfortable and well fitted out with all amenities; crisp white bedding and central heating throughout. Beautiful gardens and lake. The setting was beautiful and the accommodation was lovely. Having read a bad review on a particular cottage I was worried when I found out that it was where we were staying, it was not as the review had mentioned and I was really impressed with the accommodation. It was perfect for my family. For us...excellent value as took advantage of out of season deal. Check in was quick and efficient, receptionist was pleasant. Accommodation was spacious, well equipped and clean. Site was well kept in a pretty, quiet, and convenient location...easy drive to anywhere on the island. We were staying at the park and going to the Bestival weekend and didn't want to camp so decided to try this. Our caravan was ideal for our requirements and very comfortable. The Park also put a shuttle bus to the festival on over the weekend which was very useful and only £15. We had a beautiful modern cottage, exceptionally clean, in a quiet area away from entertainment. Very peaceful, good for relaxing and a central location for visiting the islands attractions. We could park outside the cottage which was very useful with children. Brilliant stay cottage was lovely, best weekend had away in ages, central heating making a nice suprise from cold damp caravans and brilliant value for money. Jacuzzi in the bath another luxury. Can't wait to book for next year. Got a cottage right by the lake, it was very spacious and just all round beautiful, we only stayed for 1 night but will definatly be going back as we liked it so much. everything,even though its end of season the bungalow was excellent.in september i stayed in a big caravan that was also excellent.we will be going again,thnx. We did not get a chance to experience all the facilities. But the park was pleasant, comfortable and the park would be our first choice when we return. Good value for money, homely cottages, good location. After problems were sorted we were very pleased and would definitely return and recommend. Reception telephoned to say we could have an earlier check in. Every member of staff was fantastic. Beautiful setting excellent cottage. Staff were friendly , rooms were spacious, cottage were so cheap, all together it was excellent . Definitely will be back here. Excellent 3 bedroomed cottage, spacious, clean, homely Good facilities - indoor pool, entertainment for children and adults. The value of the cottag is amazing, and the environment is comfortable, nice for family or group. Will come back again. Lakes, bar and deck area - useful for internet & cool drink in hot weather! Nothing - would definately come again. Nothing. Something for everyone regardless of age. Only two gripes: 1 - the accommodation we stayed in had a shower screen but no seal at the bottom of it so the bathroom flooded every time it was used. 2 - The oven only had one shelf in it so to try and cook was trickey and if we had been staying for more that 2 nights I probably would have mentioned it. As it happened we only cooked on the first evening. Poor quality sanitaryware..toilet seat badly fitted. Likewise door locks were 'loose' ... Not easy to lock/unlock Wifi irritating....very small amount free and constantly having to 'sign in'...need system adopted by most hotels! These were minor things and had we been staying for more than three days I'm sure would have been fixed. We didn't particularly like the entertainment area, but that is only personal preference. We were quite happy relaxing in cottage, which had a lovely patio area and private garden. Bed wasnt very long as I'm over 6ft. Apart from that brilliant stay!. Neighbors a little too noisy the doors to the outside seated area did not seem to shut tight. This may contribute to the noise and security. Booked cottages late afternoon of check in date due to other accommodation being horrendous. Was not able to check in at Rookley and had no choice but to wait outside reception for 1 and half hours, emergency phone number was not answered. Changing facilities of indoor pool. Check-in time was at 4 pm which is bit late. And check out timing was at 9-10pm. Wanted to stay more. So either check in time could have been earlier or checkout time could have been bit later. But still it was excellent. Parking was OK (but a bit tight, as both the spaces outside the cottage were being used to park large cars). Tap in kitchen was dripping. Nothing!. No net curtains in caravans; no 'scatter cushions' or 'homely touches'. Can't really fault it. Swimming pool a little small but great for kids. Hot shower was not working and only one changing room that locks.. which is ok when not busy. nothing. Could have more facilities within the park. Park itself didn't have a great atmosphere. The indoor swimming pool. It is very small and there were over 20 people in on the Sunday morning I was there. You could just about tread water. The beds in our bungalow were uncomfortable and none of us slept that well. Struggled to talk directly to anyone. Was out of peak season but had to leave messages when trying to check & out. nothing springs to mind. Only weekend spent and didn't use facilities so no complaints. Nothing, we stayed one night before attending Wesy Wight Triathlon, and had a relaxing and enjoyable evening. Lack of towel rails in downstairs bathroom, need one near the basin & it smelt a bit mouldy. No idea given of basic essentials required in the kitchen, ie t-towel, dishcloth, salt & pepper, dishwasher tablets etc or where these things could be purchased locally. Shud hv provided towels, soap. Pumps that spray out dirt in the jacuzzi bath, very squeaky double bed and costs to take a pet - £40!!. The pool could be a bit more exciting for the children. Wasn't made aware prior to booking to that the bar/restaurant wasn't open. Wasn't aware there wouldn't be any towels. No towels supplied. Check in is not till 4 and checkout 10 so if only staying for one night don't get a lot of time on site. Tiles in bathroom where becoming loose. Cant complain about anything. Information pack contained little information. The bathroom. no hair dryer.
