the owners are always available but not in your face, very friendly very efficiant, very charming. the history of the hotel. the grounds,the feeling. just briliant - Beautiful surroundings, service excellent, would go back again when in the area.

If there is a better B&B in the UK, we would be very surprised. The hosts, Karen and Paul are charming, friendly, helpful and a pleasure to be with. We had an excellent overnight stay at this accommodation. Everything was absolutely first class, with the bedrooms exceedingly well equipped and comfortable and a very extensive and tasty breakfast. Karen and Paul were very welcoming hosts and I would happily stay here again and have no hesitation in recommending it as one of the best B&Bs I've ever come across .

We read reviews online and were so worried about what we were going to walk into, but we were pleasantly suprised, the staff are so polite and helpful, it was clean and presentation was at a high standard. Very friendly staff who we re very helpful. Breakfast was very nice and the room was clean and nicely decorated. Excellent location, although if you have a room on the front it can sometimes be noisey due to traffic (boy racers and motorbikes!
Highly recommended if you are looking for a comfortable place to stay that is good value.
