It was turkey and tinsel week (we were unaware when we booked). Comfort was excellent, food was brilliant, table served and a different menu every day with a choice of 5 starters, main courses and deserts. Entertainment in the evening was great and got everyone involved. Also had coach trips included in the price to shopping venues and mecca bin

The decor of the room was excellent the bed very comfortable and plentyof pillow. Especially the green/teal colour of the curtains was verynice I would like to know where they got the fabrics from. A great way to relax over a weekend and the facilities are second to none. We wanted to get away from the hassle and found this to be a little hidden gem. The near by pub was fantastic and everything hit the spot. You are left on your own at weekends with no reception. This in my view was great as it gives trust to the customer. Really found this

Tewitfield Marina is outstanding in every aspect. The accommodation is modern, clean and secure overlooking a well maintained marina complex. The property exceeded our expectations and I will definitely book again in the near future.

A very good clean hotel and especially value for money. The owner was extremely helpful and the location in summer would be outstanding although busy as there is a caravan park next door. On saying that the hotel is brilliant. My wife is vegetarian and the chef couldn't do enough to offer a range of 'home cooked' vegetarian meals. Excellent servic

Loved every bit about this place. Friendly, helpful staff, clean rooms, even the little extras provided such as shampoo, cup of tea on arrival, better than more upmarket places we have been at, food well prepared and reasonably priced, kids food needs met, good outside spaces and garden for kids to let off steam after a long drive, breakfast was yummy and generous.

A very nice hotel set in a beautiful location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food excellent. Gym and spa excellent. Food excellent. Room was massive and very comfortable. Only complaint was what I thought was a double bed was actually two stuck together and I only noticed that when I rolled over in bed and the shower was very weak and not power

For our needs the quiet, rural location was lovely. Nice to stay in an independently run hotel instead of the usual formulaic chain of hotels. The views across the fairway was beautiful. The use of the swimming pool etc was an added bonus which we took advantage of. The staff were very accommodating. Breakfasts were fine again with excellent service.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and would be happy to re-book at the Shaw Hill Hotel.

I really enjoyed the pool,jacuzzi and sauna. We also enjoyed the privacy and quietness and the homeliness of all of the staff - Pool was amazingly warm. Parking easy. Staff very nice. Lots of high endfripperies (pillow menu, lavender spray, Xmas gift)
