Fabulous location! The staff were friendly and attentive, they also responded very well to problems when we checked in, so that said problems were overcome without our stay being spoiled. Excellent food. -

The hotel was clean and comfortable. Food was good in both Morgans and
Zest. Complimentary tea and coffee were both good. Bed comfortable,
although a tiny bit too soft for my liking but that's just my

The first sight of the hotel was delightful with a vast array of pretty flowers and lavender everywhere . Wonderful pillows comfy bed with quilt , excellent tea/coffee facilities, bathroom lovely with all necessary toiletries provided. The choice of breakfast was excellent. We used the pool and surrounding patio area and found the whole experience very relaxing after a days shopping in Cardiff.

"Pava" is situated on the outskirts of Tintern and has lovely views and easy walks from the doorstep.
Tintern Abbey is a great place to visit, is quiet and peaceful.
There are excellent walk in the area that cater for every grade of walker.
The tree lined road from Ross on Wye to Tintern and beyond, out of season is a wonderful ride and in autumn

Our room (no.2) on the top floor had a lovely river and hillside view. Bed linen, room and en-suite were all spotlessly clean. The room was very well appointed including plenty of wardrobe space. Although we did not use it the honesty bar in the large residents lounge is a nice touch and looked well stocked. A good choice of homemade food for an evening meal was available, but due to a late lunch we did not have the opportunity to indulge. Opposite there is also a nice pub if you fancy a drink

The price of my stay and the fact that I was a mother staying with my 21
yr old son. The twin room I stayed in was perfect for that situation.
The chefs on that night ( 8/10) were brilliant and I am wheat free
and dairy free they adapted the menu for me last minute and I felt
spoilt. They were very busy that night but still took the time to make
me my very own tomato sauce. Massive plus.

Hazel & Mike were great hosts. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. I was trading at the Abergavenny Food Festival and Hazel gave me a flask of tea as she knew how busy we'd be which was a lovely gesture. She also allowed me to store some things in her fridge! Bedroom was cleaned daily. The location is fab - max 10m walk into town centre.

The food was excellent,breakfast was one of the best we eaten for ages. Really liked the live TV pictures in the bar of the stream, just a shame the Otters didn't perform for the camera while we were there! It was really peaceful and was just what we wanted. Do go to Usk Castle and enjoy the gardens they are really lovely -

The food was beautiful and the staff were very polite and helpful. We stayed for our 1st Wedding Anniversary as we wanted somewhere to relax and unwind and couldn't fault our stay here. I would recommend the Olway Inn to everyone looking for that quite night away.

the breakfast was good the people were very friendly, the house was good and modern, any thing you wanted you felt they would get for you, I have a lactose problem Sarah brought up the milk from Aberavenny on her way home from work, the views were super with mountains on either side, with a working farm to see from the windows, but no smell of farm the place was quite and super freash air, with good walks if you wanted.

The management in the Hotel did do all they could to sort out our issues once we highlighted them. They did allow us to stay in the spa for the rest of the day of checkout and seemed to have tried to make sure the staff on reception told clients about the early close of the spa we just got the wrong member of staff that didn't know! The spa was our main feature of why we chose Bryn meadow

Our room was very well fitted out - plenty of space and the added facilities of a kitchenette. It looked out over the meadow so the noise from the road was not a problem to us.
