  When we got to Lakeside House we were personally shown to our room - No 1. The room was very roomy, comfortable and nicely decorated. The bed was huge! The location was brilliant - just a short walk to the centre of Keswick. Breakfast was excellent - particularly the Eggs Benedict. All the staff were friendly and gave us good advice on places... τι λέει ο κόσμος » to visit and names of good restaurants. We really enjoyed our first visit to the Lake District. - Everything! Warm and friendly, welcoming, respectful, happy and competent staff, wonderful breakfasts beautifully prepared/cooked, decor restful with warm tones modern but not clinical.
