We were thrilled with our stay at Ashlea House. Our room was spacious and cheerfully decorated, with a great view of the harbour. Thoughtful additions were made to the typical tea tray, such as cappuccino mix and biscuits. Most impressively, when we told Geraldine, the hostess, that we were in a bit of a hurry to leave due to our travel plans, our breakfast came out more quickly than I even thought possible. She did everything in her power to make our stay as comfortable and pleasant as possibl

The Derrin was very convenient to both the Ferry and the downtown area. Immaculately clean and a great owner/staff. We were very pleased with the accommodations and the pricing is very good. Most importantly, we would return for another visit should the need arise to visit Larne and use the ferry services. It would definitely be our first choice!

Derrin Guest House is a lovely place and was quite relaxing for my husband and me. We were a late booking, but the proprietor was still more than willing to work with us and arrange for an early breakfast the following morning. The location is ideal for anyone wishing to take the ferry over to Scotland and is conveniently close to the port.

This was an absolutely incredible experience. Elaine is such a sweet wonderful person and she makes you feel so welcome, you cannot even imagine. Our dog Dora took to her from the moment she saw her. This B&B is outstanding and as good as many 5 star hotels. Room and ensuite were spacious & beautifully appointed. Luxury bedding & towels. Breakfast superb - fruit freshly prepared, porridge lovely, excellent hot choices. Host very friendly and helpful regarding local knowledge. I don't know what you could do to experience a better B&B than this. Having spent 4 weeks in B&Bs in UK & Ireland this one beats them all by a long way.

Everything was extraordinary. The best B&B in all of Ireland by far. Very comfy rooms, very clean, free parking, free wifi, super well located to the Distillery and other roads around Bushmills. The breakfast was incredibly good. The owner was very friendly and helpful. If you go to Bushmills, you gotta to try this.

The location was excellent - a sea-view room is certainly worth having. Despite the atrocious weather (and no visit possible to Rathlin Island) it was a warm and comfortable base for alternative trips. The reception staff were most helpful.Looking forward to a future stay in better weather! -

This was the best hostel I stayed in during my trip to Europe. I loved the family atmosphere... We hung out with the staff on the back porch or in the kitchen. One of the staff members had a bed in our room, but wasn't in the night we stayed so we had the room (I had the double bed on the bottom rack and my son had the higher rack) to ourselves. T

It locates just in front of Queen's University, which means it is very convenient to go anywhere of the city. The staffs are very kind and patient. The breakfast was lovely. The best thing is, you can book the tour to Giant's Causeway in the hostel and don't have to go out and find by yourself. It will pick you up from the hostel as well. Brilliant!!!
