The park is 20 miles from Llandudno and Conwy Castle. Rhyl Water Park is an 11-minute drive from Prestatyn, and the Great Orme Mines are a 45-minute drive away.

Economic break. Basic accommodation ...linen and electric included (unexpected bonus)... Microwave and toaster supplied. Clean sandy beaches within east walking distance. Helpful considerate staff. Very clean site. Two onsite restaurants, bars, onsite convenience store. Family site with clean well maintained play areas. Indoor swimming pool available. Pontin's entertainment. A****. Location of the park is excellent within a few minutes of a fantastic beach and great countryside. Lots of things to do in the surroundings areas and the park itself had a good swimming pool and play park for younger children.

I liked the entertainment and the different activities throughout the day it's child friendly which was most important to us. Room very clean (thanks to Marie who serviced it before our arrival). Lots to do even in bad weather. The entertainment Facilities for the kids Staff were friendly Value for money. location, range of entertainment facilities, accomodation with its equipment. Our children loved the blue coats and animal characters :). almost everything apart from the water. Brill 4 the kids fab beach. It was value for money. everything. Excellent pool . Good young child entertainment . Good play area . Great proximity to good beach . Friendly staff . Well equipped chalet . Pleasant environment, good family atmosphere, reasonably priced and good evening entertainment. cheap drinks in club. Staff was polite and was trying there best of what they had. Loved the entertainment and how much was there for children especially the park. We like the way the children were able to play outside the apartment. Great for the kids. Good play areas and shows. The food was good a variety for everyone. Great out door children's play area. reasonable price and entertainment. Facilities. cheap. Play park for little ones.The open spaces outside the chalet was great for little ones as you could watch them. Liked the pool, outdoor sports fields, indoor skate park. the swimming baths and the park the staff were friendly. Rooms were clean but very dated. I reckon 1970 ish. Most of it really, reception staff were great. leaving our filthy decaying chalet behind. Not far away from home and clean Chally. Children were thoroughly entertained. Location, letsbookhotel.com price. The entertainment was good. Childrens entertainment. Being near the beach. Great location. Not much. The park and the indoor scooter ramp the kids loved. It was right next to the beach. Glad we booked it through you otherwise would have to pay for electric card and bedding. I have been to Pontins 3 times this year with my grandchildren because it has a lot of fun things for children. The easy going nature of the place . close to the beach . most of the entertainment . outdoor play area newish & good for kids. Kids also loved the characters. The evening entertainment staff were great and our children enjoyed it. It looked like there was a nice size pool and facilities for children. there were nothing that you could possibly like on this site. i enjoyed leaving, iam sorry, but there were no good points. The fact the sun came out so we were able to be outside. Very disappointed in my first family stay at pontins. Nothing apart from location. Site was being refurbished, (not a major disruption, and no unnecessary noise!), maybe this could have been completed out of season? - not really a dislike more an observation. On site fish and chip shop leaves a lot to be desired poor quality food not cheap by any means.need to sort out the amusements as a lot of them were out of order. we was upstairs which i found hard ,not your fault next time i would request a ground floor one. Main entertainment room a bit small for number of guests so lack of seats/tables for shows. Not enough staff on at bar so very lengthy wait to be served.would be great if you could request a particular room or block on booking. Not enough bedding, we had 4 in the room and there were only two duvets and two pillows. food variety in the restaurant. Carrying the case up the stairs. there was no hot water in the bath room to have a shower. That you led us to believe we had booked two rooms in a hotel ! It Was a chalet !. It old of been a bit cleaner. nothing. Queuing at 4pm to obtain keys for accommodation. Queuing for 45 minutes at Capt Cods chippy because only two staff on duty at 6.30pm on a Friday. Ingrained dirt on sills in the bedroom. Felt some of the facilities were expensive, and some of the guests were rowdy. Bedding dirty, The chalet was not cleaned properly , Really hot in the club even with fire doors open i sweat buckets and everyone else was. club floors carpets not been cleaned for I dont know how long.also laminated floors was very sticky under foot. breakfast in the morning was a shambles. sausages was vile bacon like rubber and paid for all you could eat and drink and had to drink water has there was no juice. and not allowed the milk. did not want coffee has it was to hot in the room. Floor in room was disgusting not cleaned and the bathroom was old bathtub front broken. Couldnt let my daughter crawl on floor she ended up black off the floor in seconds. I didn't like having to clean the room before we were able to start our few days away. The room could have been cleaned a lot better. Not very helpful when booking in ,the chalet needs some TLC and we had some confusion regarding the bedding as to whether we had to pay or not. I think in some areas they were under staffed. No explanation at check in about laundry. Had to go to laundry area 3 times before we got sorted. Too many dangerous looking clientele floating around. Everywhere was very dirty- rubbish about, chalet not overly clean. Staff at shop offhand. Accommodation. didn't know you need to take a lot more with us like pillows. Noisy teenagers. Not enough entertainment for little ones. There seem to be no out side activerty for any body during the day. Some of the team seem to go through the motions when entertaining. The entertaiment room was to dark you were scared of loosing the children. Didn't like the bed linen, double sofa bed, plastic coated mattress, inch of dust on the skirting boards, ants in the kitchen and the TV reception quality. Only there for one night thankfully. A firm believer in - you get what you pay for in this life... I would recommend Pontins but with some reservations. everywhere could do with a good clean the chalet was ok but under beds was full of rubbish it was top clean the showers in the baths where disgusting even first thing in the morn the bases were full of hair etc in fact all toilets needed a good clean and a lick of paint in all parts of the camp some machines in arcade did not work but it was hard to find staff to help if money was lost in machines. Not being able to check in until 4.00pm and then having to queue for over an hour. Cleanliness is extremely bad and the site is very outdated. The entertainment floor is sticky to walk on and the carpet in the amusements is filthy. Very poor standards on this site. The sofa bed was uncomfortable for adults, the cups are too small would be better with mugs. Some of the activities weren't on ie. football, basketball. the whole lot, poor chalets, poor food,filthy venue areas etc. Very disappointed both main rooms booked out only people with wrist bands allowed in, childrens activities cancelled due to this also. We left early and wish for this to be addressed and reimbursed. The noise from adjoining rooms. Queing all at the same checkin time,took one hour off the holiday,made to feel like army corps collecting kit I nearly gave rank and number. Our chalet was very dirty.the club houses and arcades and toilets were dirty.staff bad mannered,took 45 mins to order at the chippy. Lack of security and staff in general. Having to walk past rubbish that was on the balcony. I informed the reception staff who said it would be removed. I removed it myself in the end 24 hours later as it was still there. Empty bottles dirty nappies & food. Not very good at all. There was allot of irish gypsies, who were friendly. But children running wild till gone 2am, adults sat outside (chalets are 2 storey) drinking cans, swearing and shouting. So couldnt sleep. We should have been in classic but put in popular. If you want holiday in park holiday style, id say go to haven down the road. Which is cleaner and staff "police" the anti-social behavior. Camp looks like prison out of the old eastern block. Most of it. Dirty dated noisy not comfortable bit worth the money the check in time is far to late etc etc. It was dirty. We were put in a chalet a long way from everything where much closer ones were available, I asked to upgrade to a club class to which a payment was taken from me and two minutes later this was revoked and money refunded as allegedly this is not available if booked thru yourself. Very poor hygiene standards everywhere inside the main buildings really needs a lot doing ie carpets chairs decorating.... Chalets not clean.. We had to wait four and a half hours before we could check in and then when we got to the chalet it was filthy I had to spend about an hour cleaning it. I did not complain because i really like Pontins but sadly I don't think my daughter and her husband will want to go there again which is a shame. Didnt like a lot of the activities were closed for the children . the characters were not around for photos .some of the shows in the evening were not child friendly . Pool very poor dates dirty changing rooms also dirty. Didn't see any cleanera whilst on complex the whole of pontine dirty. Day after same litter on the floor in the shop & soft play area.carpets in entertainment area old dirty desperately need replacing. the majority of the place needs a good makeover. Where to start. When we arrived I went to the toilet near the reception and there was faeces smeared all over the wall. In our room the bedding as dirty and stained which we had replaced. There was mouse droppings in our room. The shower barely worked and just trickled out. Theres value for money and just plain inhabitable accomadtion, the later is what I describe this place as. It was terrible and desperately needs money spending on it. It had the outward appearance of a concentration camp. Very outdated, and a massively huge complex. The apartment was austere with no comfort. There were no plants, trees, cushions, pictures, lamps. Everything was the bare minimum. We were booked for two nights but only stayed one before finding a better place to stay. This was far and away the worst holiday place I have ever seen. It was a total waste of money, depressing all round. Would not recommend it to anyone. It needs pulling down. Unfortunately if i had to describe what i did not like i would not have enough space. Pontins on on a whole from the chalets to the clubs were in terrible condition and i am currently in the process of writing a complaint aswel as contacting environmental health as the chalets are a health hazard covered in damp and blood on the pillows. I could go on but the list were endless however head office will be hearing from me soon with my pictures as evidence!. the room was dirty, ant infested,, no ware to plug toaster/microwave in, no loo rolls, sette was broke, windows were filthy,, very noisey til past 3 in the morning,, no bedding at all,( we wasnt told about this) an overall nightmare. Standards were poor throughout. Considered asking for refund. One problem after another,mix up with rooms, water leak faulty door lock. The lack of varity of eateries. Rude staff, dirty chalets, expensive in on site shop, long walk to beach as through gate was always closed, litter strewn park, loud guests late at night. The way the site wasnt run the I dont care attitudes basically very poor holiday.
