  Absolutely first class service - friendly, helpful, welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. I will look forward to staying there again next time I am in the area. - We were upgraded to room with a view over the loch at no extra charge simply because the room was available. Very impressed.

  Location and room quality. Staff did all they could for rectify any problems. We were upgraded to the best rooms before arrival.Log fire. Did not have to pay for 2 poor meals and scotch for the ladies and a chance to talk the problems over with the manager were much appreciated.   We knew roughly where we wanted to stop on our driving holiday but couldn't decide on where specifically and we ended up going for this one mainly due to the reviews. I don't think the reviews do this place justice. It's an old lodge which is much bigger than it looks on the website. It was a bit similar to being in a Miss Marple or Poirot episode with hight ceilings an - Stunning location opposite the Loch, beautiful lodge which you can see as you drive across the nearby bridge. Unfortunately there was a slight mix up with our booking (which they were totally honest about), but they arranged a nice replacement hotel, gave us a bottle of wine and an upgrade for our second night (to the amazing double suite) so there were definitely no complaints from our side. The Suite was very spacious and the bed was superb. Views out onto the loch were also pretty special! A

  The outlook and views are fantastic. In addition we had a car accident in the middle of a touring holiday. On arrival at the hotel they were absolutely fantastic, arranging onward travel, car hire to continue our holiday.   Mary and Kirstie are wonderful hosts in wonderful location. The rooms are ensuite and very comfortable with tea/coffee facilities and fresh milk. Cuilcheanna House is in a wonderful location, you will not regret staying here! - The family that run the hotel were excellent. The reason for the trip was my husband had an emergency operation on a umbilical hernia while walking the West Highland Way. I found the hotel on the Internet very late at night. What an absolute find. My husband was very well looked after when he arrived until I arrived a number of hours later having travelled from Hereford. The room was lovely and breakfast was fantastic.

  This has to be the best B&B experience ever. Aileen made us welcome to Tigh Marall and was a fund of knowledge on local restaurants and attractions. Breakfast was outstanding especially the home baked pancakes and fresh fruit. The room was large and the bed and bedding comfortable and immaculately clean.   Having read other reviews I had mixed feelings of how our stay would be and all I can say is for those who wrote a bad review "I don't know what your expectations are!" I have stayed in 5 star hotels and this is by far the the friendliest hotel I've ever stayed in. Rosemary you are a star! I've never felt so relaxed and so welcome. Breakfast good - an all-you-can eat continental buffet (a cooked breakfast is extra but not really needed given the quantity of food laid out). Evening meal very good too, wish I'd eaten in on both nights. (The obviously home-made soup was superb). Staff helpful when I asked if I could come down early
