Staff was absolutely incredible. To add an extra night to our stay we said we'd like to book another night, one second later reception said "all taken care of" with a smile. They know the area pretty well and were happy to make recommendations. There's also complimentary wine and cheese every day, and it's good wine and cheese too! The staff is fun to hang out with and incredibly friendly and happy to help.
The rooms were also amazing. Brand new and highly modern design with LED lighting, slick. όλα τα σχόλια »
The room was compact but clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The staff were friendly and helpful and went the extra mile to assist, giving advice and recommendations and looking after our luggage on the last day, offering to ring for a taxi etc.
The tapas and wine offered in the evening was a lovely touch and much appreciated. It elevated the experience from a standard budget hotel. The views from our room on the 8th floor were fantastic and iconic of Liverpool, with a bird.
We paid £38 for a sunday night in one of the rooms without a window.
The room was stylish and modern with a comfortable, firm bed, a powerful shower and a massive tv.
The hotel provides free cheese and wine in the small reception area between 5 and 8. I was surprised to find they offered red, white and rose along with about 5 cheeses, some bread and crackers.
I spoke to several members of staff and they were all friendly, polite and seemed happy to be there. (Complete opposite of the adelphi.
The staff are very friendly & very helpfull & the hotel is very clean & modern the beds are extreamly comfortable & the rooms have a 40"tv & allso a walk in wetroom with power shower & there is a 24hour reception if u need anything the telephones are located on the landing / stairs & the staff will come to ur room if u need anything ie coffee milk sugar etc there is also free cheese & wine for all guests between 5-8pm eatch night all in all we had a fantastic 3 n.
The staff were so friendly, polite and professional. We arrived really early off a flight, and they minded our bags for the day and then upgraded our room (which we didn't even expect as it was our own fault we were so early!). The rooms were spotless and very modern and the bed was very comfortable. The location was perfect, walking distance to everything, so no need for taxis home after a night out (yet just far enough away that it wasn't noisy). We ate there a couple of times and it was very.
Ohh it's perfect! ! This hotel is in the centre of town! !! Mathew street is just 2 min walk, central station 5 min. Shopping street 2min!! Pier 15 min.china town 15 min. No taxi needed at all!! As well amazing staff! The water in room was refilled every morning. Tv working perfectly! All channels! Conditioning in room was good. Me and my husband enjoyed it! ! Stay in: 16 july, 17july.out 18 july. Very nice move out time!at 11:00!! When we going to visit next time, we will book this hotel agai.
The friendliness of the staff and their eagerness to help with any problems.
The facilities in my room were very modern. As I had a very good deal, I had expected my room not to be as good as it turned out to be. The very fluffy towels were changed were changed daily, which is not usually the case when you book a budget room. In fact this is one of the most up to date budget rooms I have stayed in. I would return to this hotel again and recommend it to my friends.
I loved the location of the hotel and the rooms were very comfortable. I fully enjoyed the sky tv and was actually suprised there was sky tv (i should never have doubted Z hotel) the lady at reception gave the best customer service i have ever seen! And it was the best welcome to a hotel anybody has ever given me. They also upgraded my room which was very nice of them! The price of the room was great value would definatly stay again. Thanks Z!.
Newly opened so all looking top quality. Easy to find over the road from Moorfields station. Checkin only took few minutes and was offered complamentry wine & cheese. The building it's self is a old office block so the lift area looks bit out dated but once you reach your floor you can smell the newness of the carpet. The room was clear and bright and a very relaxing bed with built in wall TV (very nice touch).
This hotel is amazing! Perfect for a short business trip as well as for a long vacation.
Hi-tech design is nicely combined with light details in rooms. Rooms are clean and compact. Daily room service. Food is great, also lovely wine+cheese hours. Staff - very professional and friendly. Bonus: i was pleased to get a room on 7th floor with the Liver Building view. Enjoyed my stay so much, definitely will come again.
Everything.... Fantastic base for shopping and evenin meals out. Room had everything we needed, comfortable bed, sky sports am fantastic shower room. Hair dryer, dressing table and lighting excellent for getting ready. Excellent assistance from the staff with directions and even provided a map. Complimentary cheese, olives & wine before we went out was a fantastic unexpected extra. Nice touch.
Value for money. I did stay at another hotel close to the Z and the TV didn't work and the wifi was awful. For the price I paid, it's incredibly satisfying to have everything in the room actually work.
I've rarely been suitably impressed so as to actually write a review on the internet, but I am with this hotel. I think it will be my go-to place to stay over the coming months.
20-something staff members were eager to please...room was very clean and comfortable...despite being close to the clubs on Victoria Street the room was very quiet, except for the seagulls outside :) Great location: 5 minute walk to the dock area and shopping (in several directions), 10 minutes to the train station, 15 minutes to museums, 20-25 minutes to the university.
Were do I start... Staff so helpful. We had room with no window, Not good if ur a light sleeper other den dat it was just class. The Shower was fab the power of it. The Bath Towels I mean Bath Towels best I have seen anywere. Proper hairdryer not a small travel one u get in a lot of hotels. And best of all FREE GLASS OF WINE & NIBBLES From 5-8....We will b back.
The ease of the location everything we wanted to visit in the city was only minutes away the cheese and wine welcome very unexpected loverly well mannererd cheeky staff, very cl;ean rooms but we felt they were week end stop over not 14 days as you would live out of a suit case, but of course we was only there 3 days so no problem and yes we will stay again.
The friendly staff
Great central location
Great value for money
40 inch plasma with all the sky channels
The customer service I received was second to none! The staff couldn't have been friendlier and I would recommend to all. I will definitely be staying again on my next visit and will look for the Hotel Z brand when booking in other cities in the UK!!!.
The hotel was spotless and the staff were very friendly. The member of staff that stood out for me though was the chef/the man that brought through the breakfasts. He was so nice and so attentive. Nothing was too much bother for him. He is a real asset. Oh, and the breakfasts were excellent! Will definitely recommend the hotel and come back again!.
First impressions were excellen, staff were friendly and very accommodating. We had a free room upgrade and it was free wine and cheese between 5 and *. Very customer focused. Rooms were simple, clean and very comfortable. Flat screen tv with all sky channels. Excellent toiletries and tea and coffee making facilities. On the door step of Liverpool One.
Everything! It was one of my favourite hotels I ever stayed in! I had
book a room without window(cheaper) and when we opened the door of our
room we had a window!!! We went into the reception and they said it was
"compliments of the house", so sweet! And the handyman was so
nice, staff excellent! And it was also useful to have a European socket.
Little touches made our stay very good, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The 'invitation ' to join them for a free glass of wine, cheeses and olives, the bottle of water next to our bed all unexpected extras that made us feel we were welcome.the rooms are small but we knew that when we booked so this was not a problem for us.
Everything, from the friendly welcome, to the amazing view of the Liver Building from our room no. 626. The bed was comfortable, huge TV was great, & returning to the room after a scorching day in liverpool, was like entering an oasis of cool tranquillity. Thanks to air con. Peaceful nights sleep, such a bonus in a City Hotel.
The staff was very friendly and helpful as i suffer with my back i found the beds very comfortable that is why we chose to stay for the second time and hopefully a 3rd before xmas. The hotel is in the perfect location as evertyhing is so close and llooking forward to our next stay
many thanx
amanda walker from chester.
Straight away we noticed that there were only a few teabags so we went downstairs and asked for a few more and they were most helpful. Asking if we would like anything else or if they could help in any other way. Very Impressed. The rooms were also fantastic as long as you know the person you're with particularly well!.
Fantastic new designer accommodation. Made even more hospitable by free cheese and wine and nibbles from 5-8pm daily - fantastic idea!
Rooms compact but beautiful and containing all you need. Fabulous shower too!
Great big fluffy white towels and fluffy pillows and mattress. I'll definitely be going back for a visit!.
Staff are fantastic and very welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. Our room was clean and modern with a beautiful wetroom and designer toiletries!! The free cheese and wine was a lovely touch and there was no limit on how many glasses/plates you could have!! Considering we only paid £48 it was fantastic value.
Nice clean room with an excellent view.
Great Location right in the centre of the city, metres away from the Cavern club, and easy walking distance to the Docks, shops, nightlife etc.
Loved the free cheese and wine served daily between 5pm-8pm.
Sky TV with movies and sports always a bonus!.
Very nice hotel in city centre very close to the famous Cavern.
Bed very comfortable like sleeping on foton. Feather pillows, bottle of spring water in room. Sky TV which includes film channels. Free cheese and wine to guest between 5pm and 7pm every evening. Staff really helpful.
Modern clean rooms
Huge TV with sky !
Complimentary toiletries despite cheap weekday price
The free cheese & wine between 5-7
Impeccable service from staff
Fantastic location right by the shops, with a lot of bars and restaurants nearby
Bottle of water and glasses supplied.
Spotlessly clean. Engaging staff, especially Emma who was duty manager
on 14-6-13. Rooms compact and well planned. All amenities were present.
Cheese and Wine evenings absolutely fabulous idea. Please do not loose
it. Just the perfect start to a evening.
Thank you very much x.
Spotless room. Glass shower cabin with beautiful view over Liverpool (on 6th floor). UK and Euro power socket right next to the bed just like the HDMI input to link up your device to the 40" flat screen. And even received a complementary glass of wine on arrival. Great value!.
Complementary wine and cheese was lovely, staff were really friendly and the hotel is just wonderfully clean and functional, right next to Liverpool 1, the main shopping area and also a wide selection of bars and restaurants. Great location, lovely staff and a very cute hotel.
When checking in the staff were really friendly and helpful with info about where to park and the city! The hotel was clean and ideal for a city break. The location was perfect across the road from the city and bars! I would deffo stay here again and recommend it to friends!.
It was a very good value hotel in a central location. Perfect if your doing a lightning visit to Liverpool to see relatives before xmas like me and my partner! The room was nice and clean with a window, and the setup was good, except for the issue with the shower cubicle....
We were completely happy with this Hotel, The staff were helpful and friendly, The complementary cheese and wine was an inspired touch, Although the rooms are on the small side we didn't mind as they were adequate and cute, like a cabin on a boat,Will hope to visit again.
the view from the room was great (8th floor!), hotel very central, comfy bed, very large towels, friendly staff, complimentary cheese & wine when you stay 3 nights or more. The room is not very big but it's enough and for the price and the location you can't beat it!.
Friendly, welcoming environment. The staff are helpful, the rooms are smart and have a cool modern design. I like how reception is part of the bar and the complimentary cheese and wine is a classy touch. Would make this my hotel of choice for a stay in Liverpool.
* close to city center
* very quiet
* not disturbed by cleaning service, very discrete staff
* good bedding
* very good tv and channels choice, tv screens
* powerfull hairdryer
* possibility to take coffee and tea with kettle in the morning
* good quality of staff.
I got an excellent price on a budget windowless room. And visually, it was a nice compact little room, functional but modern and attractive. Very comfortable bed. Big screen tv. It seemed the planners had done everything just right. However....
Comfortable, great price. Free wine and cheese between 5-8pm. Very quiet, no internal or external noise. Air-con was great and being able to check-in early was a huge advantage, as was the facility to leave your bags after checking out and return for them later.
Staff were really welcoming and friendly. Cheese and wine reception for hotel guests between 5-8pm is a lovely touch. Proximity to Liverpool One shopping area is great. Taxi fare was £20 including tip from the airport which is good value. Great value for money.
Location of the hotel was very central and staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was serviced every day and was always clean and fresh towels were provided. Our room had no window but lighting and air conditioning was more than enough to overcome this.
Immediately welcomed by very friendly staff. Superbly quick and smooth check in. Complimentary wine and cheese between 5-7 excellent idea. Rooms very well designed and functional. Very comfortable bed. Will be my no1 choice in Liverpool from now on.
well we got an upgrade for a start. Intriguing modern room with good facilities, comfy bed, massive telly and sufficient storage space.
Friday evening there was free cheese, wine, olives for guests in the foyer - v convivial
Really pleasant staff.
Very nice rooms. Modern.
Nice cheese and wine offering at night for free.
Great location.
Friendly staff.
Only downfall was the wifi not working in the morning which we used to find attractions and plan our day.
Very happy with the stay though.
The staff were so friendly and helpful, really so nice. We were sown for a family christening and they gave us a late check iut on the sunday and called our cab for us, can't wait to visit Liverpool again, I will certainly be staying at the Z.
The z hotel was perfect for our stay it was so handy for everything, also the free wine and cheese board between 5-8 every evening was a very nice touch, also like the sky tv in our room,I will defo Be staying here on my next visit to Liverpool.
The hotel was absolutely spot on. With free sky movies, sports and Wifi in your well planned out room and even free wine and cheese between 5-7 and an excellent location I couldn't of hoped for more and will definitely use this hotel again.
Staff are very welcoming and trained to high standard.
The hotel was clean, comfortable, Excellent location and easy access to everywhere in Liverpool City Centre. I will definitely stay again in this hotel if I ever come to Liverpool :-).
Excellent value, right in the city centre with the cavern quarter on your doorstep, I must admit when I booked at that price I thought it was going to be horrid but exactly the opposite, modern, clean, friendly couldnt ask for more.
The hotel was warm and friendly, the rooms were compact but comfortable enough. My husband loved the large screen TV and full sky package. Would definitely stay here again as it was right in the centre of activities of Liverpool.
Having to leave Liverpool :(.
I couldnt work out how to have light in the room but aircondtioning off at the same time. However this might have been my failing rather than the hotels.
The bathroom arangements were fine for us but might not suit a new couple on a romantic break as toilet couldnt be locked and you could see through frosted door.
Everything was perfect but the windowless room makes it difficult to wake up properly in the morning. I wouldn't pay more than £40 for it.
None.
My only complaint is that the set up of the toilet/shower facilities in the room is very strange - it's basically in the bedroom with only a semi-frosted glass pane between it and the bedroom itself. Let's just say you would want to be very comfortable with your partner if you choose to stay here!! Pity, because if it was a proper en-suite rather than a glass pane it would have been perfect.
Windows not opening. They could do at least small window on top ( because it was hot weather , room was very hot too. conditioning helped only at night.but it still is perfect!!!.
Not really a complaint but the rooms I would guess would not suite all as the actual bathroom is a frosted glass wet room probably not suited to guys sharing lol.
Only one criticism. In the no window rooms the air con is above the bed where you sleep. You couldn't switch It off as became to hot but blows down on you. Wouldn't stop me from visiting again though.
My only marginal complaint would be that I prefer my beds a bit softer, but I obviously understand that it's a balancing act to cater for a wide range of people.
breakfast was good but a bit expensive.
N/A.
Nothing.
There's nothing you could fault.
I would recommend to purchase small bottles of hygiene products because
it wasn't enough in the room. And the access room cards didn't
work properly.
Can't fault it .
We upgraded to a room woth windows and a queen but unfortunately it sidnt seem or look like a queen and it was very noisy as we could hear the noise from club goers going past and as i dropped off i could hear staff walking past our door but i wouldnt let that put me off.
As we were new to Liverpool we didn't really know where abouts there was to eat. And when we asked at reception one lady wasn't very helpful, we were merely told to look through a few leaflets. We weren't given any recommendations or suggestions as to where to go. This was only one person out of a group of fantastic staff!.
Nothing.
The room was a bit snug but for one night it was manageable.
Nothing, the bedroom and bathroom partitioned with glass was unusual, but nothing to really complain about.
Ran out of bacon at breakfast also not able to offer a variation on eggs. Only fried not scrambled or boiled.
Air conditioning is either freezing or too hot, but this is literally the only negative !.
Air conditioning unit in the rooms were controlled centrally which meant
we had to go downstairs and liase with reception in order to switch it
of'F. However every request was met with positivity and the task
carried out immediately.
Didn't have its own car park!.
We only stayed one night, and discovered the shower cubicle leaked into the bedroom area. We were too tired to say anything that night, but whilst I was checking out I did mention it. Was given a half hearted apologetic shrug...
Nothing.
the air conditioning was centralised so couldn't be stopped and hummed night and day. Bring ear plugs!.
* lack of intimacy in the bathroom due to lack of isolation
* small bathroom
* difficult to understand how the cooling system works
* no locker in the bedroom
* expensive breakfast
* breakfast and dinner area in the hallway, narrow and small, not comfortable
* bed aside the outside window not comfortable with cold, even with the curtains drawn.
About 10pm the wifi went down and I still had work to do. Also the room became quite stuffy but the a/c, which is centrally controlled, wouldn't turn on. Three trips downstairs reporting the problem (as there was no phone in the room) and being assured they would both work upon my return to the room. Finally was told the A/C was broken in my room. The wifi worked the next morning. A perfectly planned room but failed execution.
Room a little small.
Rooms are cramped and double bed seemed smaller than usual by hotel standards. This would have been ok if sharing with a partner but sharing with a friend it was a bit too cosy! Toilet/shower area a bit off-putting as it was a glass room with a perspex window.
Not a huge amount of hanging space for clothes but drawers and under bed storage were available for other items. Bathroom door was very close to the side of the bed but not too much of a problem. Only one plug point available.
Not applicable. Don't have one complaint!.
No complaints.
Nothing.
One of the towels wasn't that clean! But I'm sure if I did ask for a replacement that would have giving me a replacement.
Which is a mistake by the housekeeper, And it could have happened in a five Stars Hotel.
nothing.
The bed was not the softest I have slept on but it served its purpose.
