We were very impressed with the facilities. Quite often although a hotel claims to have a gym and pool they rarely offer the sort of quality found at this Novotel. The location was great - Southwark tube is 2 minutes away, St Paul's cathedral is a 15 minute walk and although the location is pretty central, we did not find the area too busy at all.

Especially friendly and helpful staff in total, but these 3 persons need
an award: the very friendly mechanic who repaired the sink stop in a
couple of minutes, the manager of the restaurant on

the location is fantastic, Globe,Tates, OXO,Thames cruises, tube, all in very short walking distance, was perfect for us!

Fabulous location, staff could not have been more helpful. The design is really cool, the rooms lovely and the roof top bar serves delicious value food and drinks - delicious food too.
Would recommend if you want a very lively, fabulously designed hotel in a great location.

Very convenient location for South Bank venues. Convenient to access from Kent where we live. Good to have a car park connected with the hotel. Weekend rate for our room makes it a first choice for overnight visits to London, though presumably there are no discount prices during the week. - A very friendly and comfortable hotel in an ideal locatio

Our room was lovely. The staff could not have been nicer. Upon our arrival theater tickets were ordered for us. We only had one night in London but were free the following day. All the staff were polite, helpful and very friendly. I would definitely stay at the Rubens again, our room was recently refurbished and was in excellent condition. The room service was impressive and the food the best I've ever tasted in a hotel.
