My husband and I stayed at the South Place Hotel for a week's
vacation. The hotel is in the heart of the business district, so it is a
quieter neighborhood on the weekends, but bustling during the week.
There are a number of nearby pubs, and a Marks & Spencer across the
street if you require groceries.

The best hotel I stayed in throughout my entire europe trip! - --
Location: Great!!! Within 10 minutes walk from Liverpool station when
figure out the way and actually another station Moorgate is just around
the corner. With marks and spender just opposite to the hotel, it makes
it more perfect! As can buy snacks / bottle water easily on our way
back to hotel. :)

A great location, only 3 mins wall to Tower Hill tube and 6 mins to
tower of London and London Bridafe and the southbank. We upgraded to
executive room for £40 per night which was good value as it then gave us
breakfast and complimentry drinks and food in a privare room between 5pm

We were greeted immediately upon on our arrival from a very helpful, efficient member of the reception team. As we had arrived early our room wasn’t quite ready, but the receptionist immediately got onto the housekeeping to make it a priority. We were given the delicious warm cookie to eat while we checked in. We left our luggage and went to do some sightseeing. Very convenient location for South Bank venues. Convenient to access from Kent where we live. Good to have a car park connected with the hotel. It was very easy to get to St. Pancras by bus, the hotel is quiet and Islington is an interesting place to be. - Good location- close to Angel tube, clean and good size room, comfy bed,good value for money

It is an elegant hotel in a quiet but very nice district. It is very close to London Bridge, Tate Modern, Borough Market, Shakespeare globe. Within walking distance there is nice restaurants and cafes. There is even a cinema across the hotel. The tube is within 10-15 min. walk from the hotel. Extremely comfortable and enjoyable stay! Very quick check in with lovely staff who helped us to find bus routes.
The room we stayed in was amazing - everything from the layout to the comfy bed and huge shower made our stay so fun. We also had a great view onto the courtyard where the sun came in, and were able to see the park.
We were able to leave bags for the day. Tower Bridge was just down the road! Short bus journey to Waterloo/Southbank areas too.

We were very impressed with the facilities. Quite often although a hotel claims to have a gym and pool they rarely offer the sort of quality found at this Novotel. The location was great - Southwark tube is 2 minutes away, St Paul's cathedral is a 15 minute walk and although the location is pretty central, we did not find the area too busy at all.

the location is fantastic, Globe,Tates, OXO,Thames cruises, tube, all in very short walking distance, was perfect for us!
