A new Hotel, excellent location for our needs, a short walk to Aldgate East tube, the staff so friendly and helpful. We took a short taxi ride to Tower Pier and went on the Thames from Tower Bridge to Westminster. We loved Selfridges and had salty beef sandwiches at 'The Brass Rail Cafe' there. -

We stayed in the Executive King Room.
The room was very nicely decorated. It looked fresh, clean and new. The bed was comfortable and large and the TV was well-placed and worked properly.
The bathroom was clean and the bath was large. Unfortunately the water was not very hot from the hot tap. Running a bath warm enough to relax in was difficult a

The quirkiness; if you don't like quirky then don't stay here! The staff were young, helpful and keen to make our stay a pleasant one. We chose a room without a window which was fine for 1 night. The hand made bed was awesome (spend money on your bed and shoes as if you're not in one you're in the other). The choice of lighting in the room was

- Free breakfast bag (juice, apple and a bar) hanging on your door every morning
- Clean room with a very comfy bed and a nice rain shower: what more do u need?
- Close to tube & vibrant/multicultural/trendy Brick Lane with all its different shops/restaurants/bars/markets. It looks a bit dodgy at first maybe (graffiti), but felt very safe there. Few tourists, London at its best IMHO

Everything was great! The service was fine, as well as the hotel staff. Room was tidy and clean, with good acoustic isolation (no noise from the outside). All I can say is wow what an amazing hotel. It was absolutely spotless

Mo at the reception is a really nice guy. We arrived early and he still made sure our room was available for us ASAP. We had a double room which was very nice and clean. The hostel had a lift which was amazing after spending a lot of time lugging bags up many flights of stairs.

The staff was incrediblly nice, everyone was very helpful and polite. There are bus stops in front of the building, the Rotherhithe underground station less than 10 minutes away, it's located in a residential zone so it's a very quiet and safe place. I had previously read a review that said it was scary to walk from the underground station to the hostel, but let me tell you even though it's mostly a desserted area at the late hours of night, it's very safe, so don't worry about that. It was very handy to the Liverpool Street Station. It had an Iron andBoard in the room and the Bed was Very Comfortable. I booked Hotel Indigo for my husband's 30th birthday and it really was ideal. We had hoped for a relaxing city break and that is what we got.
The staff we incredibly friendly and helpful and offered us a complimentary glass of wine and a turn-down service because it was hubby's birthday, which was lovely.
The hotel décor was modern and clean and the room (superior double) was well furnished, comfortable and stylish.
