After reading the reviews,we didnt have high expectations but for us we just wanted a place to put downs our heads for the 2nights we were there.But i have to say the room was immaculate and was way above our expectations. We were right over the three sisters pub but the noise didnt bother us.I would highly recommend it to students or anyone up for

The apartment was modern, spacious and extremely clean, with a huge
window overlooking Nicholson street. We relaxed watching the world go by
and still the noise wasn't a problem at all. The area has any

Good location in quiet back street but close to shops and restaurants and not too far from city centre and station. I was initially dismayed to find the apartment is in a Hall of Residence but there was no appreciable noise from the student element of my fellow residents. Apartment was well equipped and comfortable

Right from the minute the lift opened at reception area, we were very warmly welcomed by two lovely girls who were genuinely pleased to see us.

I cannot rate the staff highly enough and if any premier inn -
Stayed in the Premier inn on Princess street from the 2th to 23rd of Nov 2013. The Hotel is just a 5-7min walk from the waverly railway station and is directly opposite the famous Edinburgh Castle. Although we dint spend much time in the hotel and dint get a chance to dine in, but the Hotel was very nice, Clean and had all amenities one could ask for. A value for money hotel for people travelling to Scotland and are in a mood to Explore rather than stay in!

το παλιο στυλ του ξενοδοχειου και η ησυχια - Location - 15mins walk from Princes St. Cost - very reasonable for Best Western hotel. Breakfast - freshly cooked. - staff were great and room was everything we wanted wished we had stayed for 2 nights. will definitly return soon

Breakfast was good value - just over £8 for unlimited buffet (inc. cooked breakfast) and unlimited Costa coffee.
My bedroom was spacious and the bed was really comfortable.
Location good - 5-7 mins walk to Princes Street and 10-15 mins walk to Royal Mile/castle.
Haymarket train station 2 mins walk away - for trains to Glasgow (and to Waverley if

Murrayfield and Tynecastle about 20 mins away by foot, if you're catching some sport while in Edinburgh.

Fabulous hotel. Staff were great, everybody was friendly and polite and went out of their way. Location is super, 2 minutes walk from haymarket station and 15 walk into Edinburgh city centre. Buses stopped outside the hotel to go to Princes street if you didn't fancy the walk. Food was good, we had breakfast and was lovely with lots to choose from. Didn't eat there otherwise but saw the food and it looked very nice. Rooms and beds clean and comfy. Great hotel.

This is a family guesthouse, and that explains why you feel so much at home there. The floor cover, design and dining room all make you feel a special guest. Breakfasts icluded, wifi is free. And fast. Plus a relatively close distance from the center - that's the best investment for a young couple, friends or a solo traveller who want to enjoy Edinburgh in any time of year.

The Alpha Guest House was a wonderful place to stay. The bedroom was always clean (we were grateful for the fresh towels every day!), modern yet classy and well furnished.

The room was spacious, clean and furnished to a good standard. Our hosts were very friendly and obliging. The breakfasts were excellent and piping hot served quickly. Bus services to and from central Edinburgh right on the doorstep. Would definitely recommend the guest house to our friends
