  Kensington is a very good part of London to stay for a short break. There are of couple of lovely restaurants in the neighborhood, but you have to take a closer look at the menu before you enter, because prices are very different and high prices do not guarantee a good meal. The seating areas in the foyer were wonderfully relaxing, especially on a wet morning. It was so near the Metro and yet, so peaceful. Plenty of shops and cafes, nearby. Spotlessly clean, lovely bed and cosy and warm.

  The staff was wonderful. The room and bed were perfect for two, as was the shower. The location was very central and well situated for the tube, musuems, parks, etc. This hotel really rocked even though there were some minor construction projects going on.   I truly experienced this hotel in every aspect and overall, my stay was exceptional!!!!! When I checked in, although I booked a twin room, they offered me a double room and even toured me through both to allow me to see them before making my choice. Whimsical, luxurious touches e.g. artistic swan sculpted from towels; pleasant rooms for dining. Convenient location for underground (short walk to Earl's Court) and some major cultural and other sights.
