Definitely best choice for Edinburgh. Have stayed at Balmoral 3 times already, and every time was an exceptionally pleasant experience. Love the superb location, warm and welcoming atmosphere, excellently polite and helpful staff, relaxing SPA area. Strongly recommend Number one restaurant for a delicious haute cuisine dinner.. -

other attractions. In addition, the food served in Number one
restaurant were really delicious, could be the top rank of 1 Michelin

The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable and clean, and I was able to make use of all the facilites easily. - Staff were most helpful. They left clean towels etc outside my room when they could not get in. Left luggage available and later check out time of 12md. I arrived early and was given a complimentary coffe

Muy bien ubicado en el centro de la ciudad con acceso a recorrer andando cada rincon de Edimburgo, muy limpio en todo momento con la posibilidad de conocer gente de todo el mundo con la que practicar tu Ingles. Hay que destacar la amabilidad de todo su personal que siempre tiene una sonrisa para recibirte y ayudarte en todo lo que necesites. The apartment space was luxurious, comfortable, very well thought out and utilised - with modern open-plan living in mind, balcony with fold back door to seamlessly bring the outside space in, serviced to a high standard daily; friendly and very helpful staff. Very central location at the 'Lawnmarket' on the 'Royal Mile' in the Old Town, in the shadow of the castle itself - great for sight- seeing most within a very short walking distance and only a short bus ride to others.

Great location and convenient for pubs cafes, shops and sight seeing.
Our room situated at the back was quiet and we had a good night's
sleep. Very helpful and cheerful receptionists. The fire-alarm went off
on one occasion, firemen turned up and declared it as a false alarm, at
least we felt safe. We will book again in the near future. -

Choosing accommodation in a city that you are unfamiliar with is always hard. We chose well as this hotel is brilliantly located in the "old " city right off the Royal Mile. Wow- fantastic hotel. We got it for a really good price through
letsbookhotel.com and our stay was perfect. The staff were brilliant and so
attentive allowing us to check in early and assigning us to a fab room.
The room was spacious bright and colourful with lots of lovely added
extras including free movies,mini bar drinks, robes and slippers. We
also had a massage each in the spa centre which was fantastic. The
location is more than you could ask for- everything on the doorstep!!

Absolutely wonderful place to stay!!! We came with a 4 month old, and they could not have been more accommodating! It was raining and they even lent us umbrellas for the day. The room was wonderful, clean and the staff were beyond nice. I would recommend this place to stay for anyone visiting Edinburgh. Plus it's right in the middle of everyth

We didhave one problem that when we first got our room it wasnt clean butthis was quickly rectified and we got a new room and a welcome pack.Only other problem was tv reception but I did not spend much timewatching tv anyway.
