Hotel has a nice location right on Clapham Common. Whilst not right in the centre of London it is only 4/5 subway stops from Victoria and much better value than most of the hotels that are in the centre. This is a wonderful haven from the busy city. It's in an excellent accessible location, about 10 mins walk from either Clapham Common or Clapham South. The beautiful Victorian building is well looked after and has a quirky yet clean feel to it. A cosy and warm atmosphere with open fires in the winter. Helpful and welcoming staff, very professional. Glass-roofed conservatory breakfast area, and excellent food. Bed was very comfy, got a good night's sleep. Very quiet! Free WiFi.

I stayed here for three weeks whilst in between flats and it was a god send! Some nights are under £10, and considering that includes breakfast it's indisputably great value. The rooms of hotel are all new and very nice , I asked for iron and hair dry which was no problem staff are understanding it's a very good safe hotel if you are using st George's ! The resterant beside was good as well .

I stayed for 4 nights on business. I had a minor car park trauma (my fault) and was faced with telling a guest that i had hit their vehicle.
I reported this to the reception and they could not have been more helpful - the Italian gentleman (i apologise i did not record his name) was very helpful and was the epitome of professional -thank you very much.
The rooms were comfortable and everything you could need. I will stay again.

Hotel Rafayel is a class act, it is grand design that mixes latest technology without being over bearing, and architecturally this is one of the finest hotels for the quality and the price I paid for. I took a suite and 223 is one great suite, it is huge and the facilities are immense.

Five star hotel - I was very concerned as I had read few reviews about the location. I think location vise it on one of the best find, few minutes from my favorite haunt Blue Bird on the Kings Road.
Locations is more than offset by unimaginable luxury of the rooms and the size of the corridors, immense public areas for a small hotel likes this added character and class to our entire stay.
Very few hotels attract me to stay two evenings in a row for food and spa, this definitely did, will stay in future.

we stayed in the four bedroomed apartment as we were a large group of nine and they put in a spare bed for us and left two litres of fresh milk in the fridge. The apartment is on two floors with huge balconies and is perfect for large groups or multiple family members. the shutlle service was helpful and flexible. -

The staff were really helpful and polite, cheerful and gave attention to the children making them feel welcome and special.
It was clean and airy, room was a good size, air conditioning and heating excellent.
For breakfast, there was plenty of choice, some very good quality food. Good choice and tasty food for dinner, good value for money.

The hotel was clean, cozy, romantic, the staff was courteous, polite. The food was delicious short was really a good experience to stay at the hotel to rest after a busy day. We loved the size of the rooms and the fact that it was a suite set up, as this made it easy for our young son to go to bed before us. The staff are very well trained and always pleasent and helpful. The bar of the hotel has a lovely atmosphere and is very popular which I have found in other hotels we have stopped in, not to be the case.
