  Everything. The room was lovely, well appointed and cared for, the breakfasts were delicious! I had just found out that my painful 'sprain' was a broken leg(!) and they could not have been more kind and helpful - Nice welcome. Breakfast ordering service which ensured we were not kept waiting. Food was delicious. Lovely room and good facilities.

  A very good clean hotel and especially value for money. The owner was extremely helpful and the location in summer would be outstanding although busy as there is a caravan park next door. On saying that the hotel is brilliant. My wife is vegetarian and the chef couldn't do enough to offer a range of 'home cooked' vegetarian meals.   Nearly everything!! This hotel is on the river on St George's Quay, a five minute walk to the Castle and into town for Lancaster's bars, restaurants and shops. It has 4 stars from Visit England and deservedly so, Our room although a wee bit on the small side was lovely, well decorated to a good standard as was the bathroom which had a walk in show... τι λέει ο κόσμος » er that was nice and hot. We had a river view which can be a bit noisy as people are coming and going from the pub all the time, it seemed as busy wit - I booked the Wagon and Horses specifically for its location. We were travelling on the Steam train journey on the Seattle Carlisle railway. It is a 10 minute walk to the station. As a bonus it is right next to an excellent cycle path which takes you to Morecombe. The pub itself is very clean, comfortable and welcoming. We had a very early start for the train (before breakfast started) and so they provided us with a breakfast basket with milk and cereals the night before and as an added bonus,
