From the booking in to the checking out the staff are superb and the whole establishment is run with an eye to perfect detail. The rooms are modern and very high spec with all the facilities you may require. The restaurant is fabulous for an evening meal and the breakfast in the morning was the best we have had in any hotel. The produce was local and the flavour and freshness of the food was outstanding. We will certainly stay again when we visit the Cotswolds. Fantastic value for money. όλα τα σχόλια »
Very good location in terms of access to Oxford centre and country
walks. The accommodation is excellent, the room and ensuite was
exceptionally clean and well appointed. It is evident that the hotel is
well maintained and a great deal of time/effort has been taken to
ensure that it is of the highest standard. The food whas extraordinary
good and The Bells have a great Chef. The staff are very, very, very
friendly and made every effort to make our short stay an enjoyable one.
The food, the large room with monsoon shower, the staff, the wine, the location.
Proper coffee in my room, with lovely open windows and real milk, not packaged stuff.
Breakfast was lovely, the staff made me feel at home as I was a lone female traveller, I felt comfortable and safe. Beautiful country surroundings gave me much needed peace after a day travelling with work.
This is such a wonderful find. A small country style pub with outstandingly clean and comfortable rooms. The staff are so friendly and the food is amazing. This is the perfect place if you are on business and like a homely environment unlike the corpoate hotels. If you are looking for a weekend break this is ideal. cant say enough good words.
Everything about The bell was of a very high standard, food was very good, room was delightful the attention to detail being something that I always look for. Without a shadow of a doubt the staff were what made it a wonderful over night stay!! Thank you for your amazingly warm hospitality.
Excellent hotel. Great service, great chef and great food. Nothing too much trouble for the staff who were friendly and eager to help. Rooms beautifully appointed. Order one of their great home baked loaves to take home with you.
The Staff most helpful, Dinner was excellent & Wine they suggested was at the lower end of there price range....& I must say very good. Stayed in Room 1, clean, bright & spacious. We will be going back.
The location; the food; the welcome and over all friendliness of the
staff; and the very good standard of accommodation. ...And the price I
got from letsbookhotel.com which meant I was able to stay at The Bell.
This is a jewel of a Inn conveniently located just off the main route
between Bicester and Oxford. The staff were excellent, the dinner was
excellent, the room was excellent, the breakfast was excellent.
I liked everything and I would definitely stay there again. I wish the
food had been a bit cheaper, I found that compared to the best
restaurants by where I live, the prices were on the high side.
The welcome, the staff, the ambience, the wonderful meal in the restaurant and the attentiveness of the staff in the evening. Also, the man on reception when we arrived and also when we left.
The Bell was comfortable with helpful, friendly staff and very good food. Was conveniently located close to Oxford and Bicester Village.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful, the food was delicious,
the atmosphere in the bar and dining room and the location.
Taste and quality of interiors
Food
Friendly efficient staff
The fact that I was able to buy toothpaste from the concierge!.
Spacious, luminous room. Very kind staff. Excellent restaurant. Location: next to a not vey busy road, placid surrounding.
Decor in all areas very tasteful
Nice location.
Dinner menu excellent although service a little slow to start.
Super efficient and friendly staff and great food. Very comfortable bed, free wifi and amazing shower.
lovely relaxed atmosphere, good food, service was quietly efficient and rooms comfortable.
Great food, great location for Bicester Village. Friendly staff, very clean. Loved it.
Very friendly staff, especially the manager/ owner who referred to us by our name.
Personal service from staff. They were welcoming, helpful, polite yet discreet.
Friendly,excellent service,relaxed,immaculate. Great food,not over priced.

Beautifully appointed rooms.Great food and staff.
Excellent in all aspects.
Luxury and great staff.
lovely bath and bed.
Every thing.
Everything.
A gentleman working there (possibly the owner) was extremely cheerful.
The location is good as you're staying in a rural location but are very close to the city of Oxford.
The hotel is very nice, the restaurant very good food and people very kind.
Convenient for exploring Cotswolds and Oxford. Rural but good transport links including on bus route into Oxford. Very sympathetic modern take on country pub/restaurant. Excellent staff.
That I could'nt stay longer !!.
Towels too small in bathroom, I am only petite, but they were more like hand towels and soaked after I had washed my hair, also bottled water in the room would be a bonus.
No residents' lounge but there is a great comfy bar to sit in.
The price of one night B&B as quoted by The Bell's website...
Way out of my league - which is not to say it isn't justified given
the quality experience.
Nothing.
The breakfast was very poor but this was satisfactorily with the manager. The staff in the morning weren't as good as the evening. A large party in the restaurant in the evening necessitated our having to move but this was handled well by staff.
Some noise from adjacent rooms.
Our bedroom felt cramped and the expelair not working in a bathroom with
no ventilation was annoying.
We had a very large ath with a shower attachment, would have preferred a proper shower.
My partner is quite tall and beams were a tad low for him.
Breakfast choice a little limited only pineapple for fruit choice and not serving baked beans with hot breakfast maybe a little snobbish.
Breakfast service was a little slow.
Lack of parking on busy Saturday evening.
The bed was a little too soft, but that is very much I individual preference.
Too near the road. Would have loved a bath.
Nothing.
be aware of .our room[which was great]was adjacent to the restaurant and only accessible from outside and there was no overnight staff on duty.getting on in years we found the wonderful free standing bath a bit difficult to climb in and out of.dont let these comments deter you as the hotel is wonderful.
Drinks prices! But that's Oxfordshire it seems!.
wifi poor in the room.
I had to sleep diagonally - I probably had the smallest of bed!.
Struggled to find on Postcode alone as there are two Oxford Roads within
their postcode, and our Satnav decided to take us to the wrong one!.
Not dog friendly.
Annex rooms not suitable if over 5' 10"
Old batteries in TV remote.
nothing.
having not remembered toothpaste, we thought they would have small packs available, but unfortunately not. My husband drove to the local supermarket. Although the manager on site did offer to share hers....
Nothing!.
Would have preferred option of earlier dinner time to 6-30pm when "Chef would be ready".
no lounge.
Nothing.
The light in the bedroom didn't worked and wasn't fixed after a request. The girl at breakfast blamed the lack of bread on the fact that we arrived 20 minutes before the end of service and also forgot our drinks until prompted.
Only the address is hard to find with GPS, maybe to improve these information.
Some road noise due to proximity of rural road.
